3 Brothers Halal Food Truck

I've been searching for a good chicken and rice place in the area, which has been tough. There are 8 within 5 miles, but, its quantity over quality. 3 brothers out of the lot definitely is in the top two. I've tried going a few times, but, opening at 6pm makes them a tough place to go to. Once I finally went, they were not ready for customers. You would think if you are at a food cart that if you open at a certain time, you would start pre prepping a few items (here I'd assume the meats and rices). Was asked to wait 15 minutes, it took 25. After I received the food, the aroma was enough for me to say, I'll be back! I got the mixed platter for myself, and the chicken with rice for my wife. The chicken had a nice sweet BBQ flavor which was unique, but definitely good. The rice was cooked properly, and he white sauce was good (a staple for this type of cart). My wife said the red sauce was ok, but, I wouldn't know as I just had a dab.The employees/owners were friendly, and seemed like young people growing a business which I respect. As far as ambiance, it's a food truck, hard to say there is any. The location is well placed which is helpful.For the Tampa Bay Area, this is the best around, and will satisfy your craving. Also I'm just removing one star for time. First being not ready for business at the stated time, second (not deducting a star for this of course), I've spoken with a few people and it seems based on location alone they should be open all day. Yesterday I googled the time as I wanted to pick something up for later, and as there hours are what they are, I've recommended other places for lunch.

I have frequently noticed the 3 Brothers Halal Food Truck as it is located near my place. So, when I had a craving for some outside food, I decided to have dinner from the 3 Brothers Halal Food Truck. It is situated near the University of South Florida, and after going through the menu, I ordered the Chicken Gyro Sandwich and Falafel.The service was good, and I soon received my food which I took to go. I tried the Chicken Gyro Sandwich first, which was delicious and loaded with chicken and sauce. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the falafel was crispy and well-fried. The food was tasty and available at reasonable prices.

Despite the fact that the food was good, the service wasn't so friendly. I felt as though the lady taking my order was a bit rude as I was placing my order however, food was good.

Food is amazing. Always hot and fresh. Customer service is superb for it to be a food truck.

One night, I was in need of a cheese fry fix. I saw this place had steak cheese fries and couldn't pass up the opportunity. The truck is located in a small parking lot across from a local convenience store. Parking isn't much. I waited about 20 minutes. Brought the food home and gave it a whirl. It wasn't bad. I like that they put onions in it. The cheese itself is straight up nacho cheese. The fries themselves were okay. The meat was decent. The only thing was it was $13.99 with tax, so $15.06. Being a college area, it seems counterintuitive to charge those prices. I personally wouldn't return here for two reasons. First, I'm not too fanatic about the area. The best way I can describe it is I felt like I was in a prison wanting to get out. Second, it's a bit overpriced. I expected a bit more from a halal food truck. But hey, there it is. I tried it, and now I know what's up.

This business, like others, has been judged unfairly. In terms of this being a food truck, they crank out consistent food that is not over seasoned, riddled in fat, or any other recipe for cardiovascular disease. Their food is fast, easy to order, and reliable. Tick Tick Tick.To say this isn't New York halal food is as useless of a review as comparing Florida beaches to Tahiti. NOT A REASONABLE COMPARISON. To say the person taking people's orders needs to be more friendly or doesn't act like she likes her job... ALSO a weak comment. It's a food truck. I don't see "boost your self esteem", "hold your hand and give you a compliment", or "ray of sunshine" on their menu. It's a food truck. Just order your food and stop whining that she didn't smile at you. To 3 Brothers, you've been great for years! You showed me that lettuce, cream sauce, and rice could taste good together. I thank you for your consistency and perseverance!No photo. I ate it all too fast - haha.

So delicious . Authentic amazing always hits at 2 am . Not super quick but the food makes up

Very expensive for very mid food my girlfriend and I went there and it was around 50 bucks for two pita bread and lamb heroes and a side of fries with a Coke each

food was not seasoned at all. I asked for something else and they said they could not offer anything better nor a refund. DISGUISTING.

Stumbled apon this place a few years ago when I lived in Tampa. I'm from out of state & I couldn't find a good halal food place.l, until I tried this food truck! Food is always tasty and d hot, staff is friendly & the wait time is never crazy. I live in Lakeland now and still make the trip here to get some good food!
