Very nice man. Service was good. Small clean location. Steak burrito was very disappointing. Beef was very chewy.

Tamaleria Y Antojitos Chepis, which I believe roughly translates to "Tamale and Street Food Place" in gringo is a nice little Mexican joint that is in the previous Mugs Pizza location. They only do takeout, but the food is fresh and really tasty.The food is a tiny bit on the pricy side, but the preparations are authentic, the staff I interacted with were very nice and spoke perfect English and were able to answer all my questions.The gem here is really the tamales. I have never had a tamale like the ones I had here. I'm not sure I could appreciate a different tamale again. This one is what they are meant to be. Trust me, you won't regret ordering them here!The only negative I have to say about this place, and the reason for not being 5 stars is their online ordering system is misleading at best. When you do the online ordering (at least on iPhone) it displays prices next to all the items. When you add them to cart, the items become more expensive. It seems the prices in part of their system got updated, while the displayed prices where you order from did not. This needs to be fixed. In case you were wondering, the higher price charged in the actual cart matches the prices in the restaurant from what I can tell.Other than that, this is a great place, with great food. I will be back for sure especially for more of those delicious tamales!

Very small Mexican food place - not a lot of seating. But food here is top notch! Loved everything we had. So fresh. Highly recommended!

So I was at Lake Zurich restaurant Festival the other day and I came upon this restaurant they have deep fried tacos and they're really good I tried their tamales they have homemade tamales and their menu looks wonderful very nice people . Horchata is excellent and I had a sangria it had pineapple , orange cucumbers watermelon so good and refreshing . it had a straw that was dipped in tamarind and tajin. Delicious . New place two brothers run this small shop . It's south of the Mobil . Check it out.

I was glad to see that this place opens at 6am. Got a real taste for a quesadilla and they look good in the photos. I was very disappointed when I arrived at 9:40 after a bit of a drive only to be told that the kitchen doesn't open until 10:30 or 11. Before that, it's tamales only. I seldom visit Arlington Heights, so I probably won't have an opportunity to try the quesadillas, and am leaving hungry and disappointed. Food might be great. I have no way to tell.

This is a sweet little dive on Rand Road. I sometimes go in here for breakfast to grab tamales before work. The owners are very friendly. The steak burrito was just okay. The tamales are delicious, my favorites are cheese and peppers, red pork, and green chicken. The horchata is good but tastes a more floral than others I've had. The champurado is always a treat when they have it. The birria tacos are also delicious. It's relatively clean but there seems to be a gap in the front door where critters would be able to get in though I have never seen away. Generally, I recommend this place and go every few weeks.

I absolutely LOOOVE this place. All of their tamales are amazing! My favorite being el tamal de pollo con mole or the tamales de pollo con salsa roja. Also their huaraches de asada con salsa morita are really really good

Stopped in for the first time today and the food was great, it was ready in about 15 minutes and everything was fresh and flavorful, 10/10 recommend!

Stopped by for " chicken" burrito today and didn't taste any in it...plus it came with two small containers of sauce red and green for extra you have to pay..have a rice day!!!

Yesterday was my first time visiting Tamaleria Y Antojitos. It's been hard pressed for us to find a place with both great tamales and birria tacos since we moved to Mt. Prospect. To be honest I was very skeptical about trying this place. Well I'm here to tell you that this place is AWESOME! The tamales had a nice amount of filling and the mesa actually had flavor. The birria tacos were nicely stuffed, authentic flavors abound. That consomé was delicious. I'm super glad I found them. You gotta go.
