This place is awful. The place smells bad/weird, staff is old and bigoted; only accept cash payments accepted. Entire venue needs updating; from staff to floorboards.

If you want a local spot for some great drinks, pool, and awesome music... Stop here. Nothing fancy about this place, but delivers everything that you would get a five star bar.

Some things never change. Cold bottled beer, hand mix cocktails, friendly bartender.

Tally Ho is your neighborhood dive bar where everyone knows your name and you can grab a stiff drink for cheap.Don't expect an ironic, trendy, dive bar concept with a craft cocktail program and extensive wine list.By all means, this is a true neighborhood dive bar in the best way possible. Set your expectations with this in mind and you'll find:- Cheap drinks, heavy pours.- Michelob Original - you heard that right, it does exist. It's the full flavor older brother to Mich Ultra.- Cash only, ATM inside if needed- Hungry? You can order food to the bar (Los Favoritos is next door)- Pool table- Juxebox where patrons can select songs straight from phonesThis place is owned and ran by a group of bad-ass women. Like any good bartender, they are part therapist and lend a genuinely caring ear to the patrons and regulars who start to feel like family.

I brought my pops there when he was in town once. The first thing he said was "now this is a straight up bar". That's exactly right. This is a neighborhood BAR. Not a craft cocktail lounge, not a cozy restaurant, a BAR.Have a cheap, well poured drink, shoot the shit with your friends, put a song on the jukebox and enjoy yourself. The women that run this place are some of the most real people you'll ever meet. Be good to them and they'll treat you like family.

It was a typical dive bar, no doubt about it. It wasn't my choice to share libations, but rather the person I was meeting. When I walked it, it looked and smelled like 1979. I don't recall how long it's been since people could smoke in bars but it absolutely reeked of cigarettes from days gone by. I ordered a drink before my companion arrived and was told by the bartender as I waved my debit card at her that there was no tab, cash only. There is an ATM in the bar, fortunately, as I rarely carry cash on me. More memories of 1979 LOL! At one point my companion and I were discussing politics and he told me to keep my voice down so just guessing that the bar is full of Trump supporters. Having said that our bartender was on top of things. It was slow when I first arrived and packed when I Ubered home. She was hopping and didn't miss a beat all evening. She was very attentive.

The bartending crew is great. They offer everything from drinks to snacks as well as a local pool table! And you can bring your own food in!

My wife and I really like this bar. Prices are good, the drinks are well made and the environment is really old school. Wonderful thing is despite being a dive bar, it is extremely clean which is rare for a dive bar. Lots of parking, next to a great supermarket too. Only negative is they don't take credit cards. Despite that happy we found this place a few months ago.

Dive bars take me back to my roots, so I pride myself in sniffing out the most authentic ones in the Valley. It took me 15 years to go to the Tallyho for the first time, but I'm thinking it will only be another week or so before I go back. Besides the great bartenders and stiff drinks, there's a private, cozy little pool table nook, a juke box, and red vinyl booths. Patrons are a mix of ages and types, all friendly and welcoming, no pretense. See you there. Wink.
