10/10. Huge sandwich for $13? Sold! This sandwich was MASSIVE. Had the order picked up for work today and the staff was very nice and approachable. We ordered the Sriracha club and their grilled cheese with tomato soup.

Take 5 was our favorite out of the 3 bread pudding we selected for our Bread Pudding Tour Part 1. Nice price $6.99, nice size and nice flavor. This was a traditional style bread pudding with a small drizzle of sauce on it. It had a nice crunch on the edges, moist even without being heavy on sauce, and importantly wasn't overly sweet, which was nice since this was our 2nd bread pudding of the day. To add to it, I had a nice Americano. The shop had a great variety of snacks and sodas. I would definitely recommend this bread pudding!

Driving by Ballard my son and I got a craving for a bite, and we came across this sandwich shop jewel!Great sandwiches! Prices are fair based on the quality of the ingredients and portions' size.Menu is limited but really great flavors.Service was good and fast.Definitely this place goes to our "favorite go to" list.

13 years ago I was lucky enough to call this place by employment but having moved to states away and come back every year and the food just seems to get better and better. My first visit I had to have the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque in my God, was it a gift from heaven all of the soups and sandwiches are made here and made fresh and you cannot beat the chefs quality For the price! My second visit I had to have the meatloaf breakfast sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. The slice of delicious meatloaf cheese melted over the top on an English muffin... The perfect world I would be able to eat this every day and I had to have a nice cup of hot cocoa made by the barista. This neighborhood store has become part of the heritage of my hometown of Seattle, the one sandwich I recommend the most is to take five Rubin, but there are so many others to try but if you come here you need to spend at least a week... The macaroni and cheese is one of the most healthy portions I've ever seen in my life! The next thing I'd like to point out is that the sandwich called a BLATT is a must try! Don't take 5, take it all!

One of the most underrated sandwich shops in Seattle. These are quality sandwiches with valid pricing for the quality of the sandwich. Coffee is Olympia Roaster, and it's made well, so it's a decent cup. Even though you walk in, and it's clearly a market with staples for the neighbors to run in and pick up a need such as milk or a box of animal crackers, this is not a convenience store. This is a market that seems to specialize in comfort. In addition to the sandwiches, get prepared for dinner by picking up mac and cheese or lasagna and some tasty dessert as well as a bottle of wine from the wall of wine bottles - or beer, cider, or nostalgic sodas from the cooler. If thinking ahead is too much for you and you're all about the here and now, there are a couple of tables to sit and enjoy your sandwich and homemade soup right there. This isn't a stop if I happen to be in the neighborhood. This is an intentional destination because I'm ready for a pastrami on rye or a Reuben!

This made my top 20 Seattle cuisine list!!!I would recommend for a quick breakfast sandwich.- Very kind staff.-Great breakfast sandwich, eggs were nice and fluffy, bacon was crispy, cheese was nice and crisp with some more melted areas...-Espresso was good, not great, but still a nice combo with the breakfast sandwich -Quick and go vibes, seating wise... Get the chicken Italian sandwich!! Amazing. Reuben also very good. Both had cheese SKIRTS!! I love a cheese skirt. Also, I prefer normally prefer sauerkraut to Cole slaw on Reubens but I have to say it was so good I did not miss the kraut.

Arguably one of the best sandwiches in seattle. Simple corner eatery with a plethora of options - both meat and vegetarian. Assortment of soups and treats. Wait time was a little over 15min but it was worth the wait. Quality meats, fresh bread, lots of flavor and sauces. Thick cut chicken with additional meats, melty cheese, and dripping sauces made up the "Grilled Chicken Italian" sandwich. So so good.They also take orders ahead. Just really solid spot. Definitely recommend if you're in the neighborhood needing a quick bite!

We got takeout from take 5 tonight for the first time and omg, life changing. I was pretty excited to try this place - it's such a community staple and we had passed it so many times and meant to try it. So glad we finally didI had the meatloaf burger, which is probably my new favorite Seattle burger - so juicy with crispy melted cheese and the usual toppings on a perfectly fluffy, crispy ciabatta bun. The patty itself was the stand out, so incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned. A total winner.My fiancé had the sriracha chicken sandwich, which was perfectly savory, with moist tender chicken cutlet, sriracha sauce, veggies and more crispy cheese on a bun. YUM!!We got some the tomato bacon mac and cheese and the meat lasagna to share and they were likewise, incredible-and the portions are huge so we have lunch for tomorrow. Tried the carrot cake for dessert and it did not disappoint! Perfectly crusted cream cheese frosting atop a HUGE carrot cake muffin. So good!!We will be back!
