We were craving Taiwanese food and found this place while exploring Quincy. We arrived around 3 PM and were greeted by a hostess who simply asked for our party size and seated us. She served us hot tea, which we assumed was complimentary. However, since it was around 85°F outside, hot tea wasn't exactly what we wanted. The waitress who took our order had a similarly cold and curt demeanor. When we asked about the protein in the vermicelli dish, she seemed annoyed and responded with "huh?" After repeating the question, she listed pork and some vegetables. I ordered the spicy sour fatty beef soup with vermicelli. At around 3:20 PM, we noticed the waitresses, hostess, and kitchen staff eating lunch. Our entrees arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The beef in the soup was not the fatty sliced beef we expected but rather quite lean. The soup base was spicy and sour but heavily loaded with MSG. The Taiwanese vermicelli was decent, although the portion was small. We signaled for some ice water, and the waitress mumbled something in response. Throughout our meal, no one checked on us or offered to bring the check when we finished. As we had parked on the street and were approaching our parking limit of 90 minutes, we wanted to leave. We tried waving down the staff for the check, but they didn't notice until we walked toward the register. One of the staff members commented, "Wow, they're leaving without paying" (I understand Mandarin). While we were glad to try some Taiwanese food, the service was terrible, and we won't be returning.

Taipei Cuisine is one of my go-to spots for dinner or a quick lunch. Their lunch is a great deal, served from 11am-4pm daily, ~$30 for 3 dishes. My favorite dishes to order include: roast beef scallion pancake rolls, seafood stir fried noodles, dry pot beef, and either the preserved veggies fish fillet or mala fish maw. Service is decent for a Chinese restaurant and the food always comes served steaming hot and flavorful. You honestly cannot go wrong with any of the dishes on their menu... everything is super tasty & you won't regret it. Great spot to try if you enjoy spicy (especially Szechuan/Sichuan style) mala !

Got the pork chop noodle soup! Pork chop was nice and crispy, soup felt really "clean" ( no oil.... ). Plenty of noodle for a satisfying dish!

Came back for a third time to get my favorite beef scallion pancake (still delicious, though the marinade on the meat was a bit too sweet) and to try a new dish - braised eggplant and string bean. Seasoning was perfect and sautéed well to make the eggplant juicy but keep the string bean somewhat crispy still. Added to my staple dishes at this place for me!

I found this place from Yelp. I came here on lunch hour, to my surprise they gave me large table for 8 people for myself. Servers are nice and friendly. I ordered crabmeat & pork dumplings, braised pork belly with steamed buns, and spicy beef noodle soup. Noodle was thick and al dente, beef tendons were soft and easy to chew. Dumplings came with a surprise as I didn't expect they were soup dumplings. Pork belly buns are also great for appetizer even though they can add more slice of pork belly in the bao. The restaurant is overall clean and was a bit noisy during lunch hour.

We been coming here for years. The food has gotten better. We love the double Fish in tomato sauce. It is crispy and moist . The spicy beef in scallions pancakes is bomb. Soup Dumpling is so soft and juicy inside. Overall a good time. A bit pricey but everything is now

Though I tend to visit this spot during the dinner rush, they've got some yummy dishes on their extensive menu - plus, food usually comes out fresh from the kitchen pretty quickly, despite how busy this restaurant can be!Definitely one of my favorite spots in Quincy, with their snug little ambiance - which frankly makes it easier to go family-style with their dishes, in my honest opinion. Anyway, food-wise, I'd probably say that I enjoy their dry pot dishes the most - with plenty of the flavors of what's being cooked simply seeping into the crisp potatoes and savory veggies. If anything, I'd definitely recommend trying out their dry pot, not only for its lovely tastes but also for its cute lil display. Would come back for more

Spicy Beef Scallion Rolls 3.5 the scallion rolls itself is delicious, a side of curry would be perfect for it. You can order the roll with or without the jalapeños, which can be overwhelming. Normally order takeout because the restaurant is usually packed and a bit loud. Takeout orders are normally packed quickly.

I was staying at a nearby hotel in Quincy. On the way back to my hotel, I got off at the North Quincy Station to check out this restaurant. I arrived at an odd hour between it being too late for lunch and too early for dinner. The first lady that seated me and took my order was pretty nice. However, the lady that brought out my food and gave me the bill had a very sourpuss face! It was as if she was using her facial expression to say, "how dare you disturbed my break! Why are you here at this odd hour?" :) I ordered their spicy beef noodle soup. It was not bad. They had free WiFi with the password at the entrance.
