Tailor Nashville

I'm afraid to write this review in the fear that I'll never get another reservation. Now, there are a LOT of great dining experiences in Nashville and it's only gotten better over the last few years, but the Tailor is next level. The all encompassing experience - ambiance, service, personal touch in conversing with the Chef and owner are simply unmatched in this area. The food was excellent and I would recommend the wine pairing as it was perfection. Much love for the Tailor!!!!

Went to tailor for a special occasion (wedding anniversary) and it was special! Fantastic service, great food and ambiance, and a unique experience. The chef walks through the menu and everyone eats at the same dish at the same time (kinda like we are all dining together in a sense).Oddly my favorite was the tomato sandwich - so good! Least favorite was the eggplant dish but still good overall.Knocked off one star just because I can't really see myself going here frequently. It's pricey and although I understand they are trying to go for that Michelin star feel I think a few more dishes need to be added for the price for me to want it to back one a season (for now I see myself going here like once every other year maybe, just to try new dishes as they continue to grow.

Thank you for an amazing experience seated at the chef's bar. Vivek and his team are first class, including their talented mixologist. Every dish was an explosion of flavors. I couldn't possibly say which was my favorite (all?). We can't wait to return for the fall menu!

This is the best eating experience in Nashville. Unique dishes. Incredible service. Worth every penny.

A Unique Indian restaurant in Nashville serving a trdional Indian meal with a twist .Served like you were visiting someone s home , you are seated in the Dinig area with a chefs Bar seating and traditional seating.You watch an open kitchen as your food and next course is being prepared.We were served 9 dishes in this Fixed Prix menu .It was bery dilling and delicious.The service was very attentive and the ambience excellent.

Every time I go the entire experience is outstanding. The food, service, and restaurant decor are all top notch. It's a great value overall and definitely recommend to locals and visitors alike.

This meal was worth every penny. I highly suggest this Indian fusion spot for an adventurous eating experience

We were lucky to enjoy Tailor on one of the first nights at its new location (620 Taylor St in Germantown), and we were thrilled that the team seems to be right at home here! Service and food were both impeccable. My personal favorite dishes from the summer menu were the Dhokla (Rice and Lentil Steam Bread, Mustard Seed, Coconut, Cilantro), the Eggplant (with Field Pea, Tomato Cucumber Salad) and the Dal Bhaat (Gujarati Sweet and Sour Lentils, Basmati Rice, Ghee). I also really appreciated that it was possible to get glasses of wine from the pairing menu without getting the full pairing. We're looking forward to bringing friends here when they visit, so they can experience the same warm hospitality.

Dined here for our anniversary. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food so very much. Every dish was a joy to the taste buds and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful culinary experience, starting from the ambiance and ending with the food. It was a journey very well curated by the chef and their team. Highly recommend this place and if you enjoy eating out, this must get on your list. The food was amazing, the service excellent and the overall experience fantastic. The drink pairing was ok, I had the one with alcohol and my wife had the non-alcoholic.
