TailGate Brewery - South Nashville

This was my first time going to Tailgate Brewery. They have multiple locations but this was built close to my work and wanted to try it out. If you work in the Antioch area it is close by. The location is perfect, the seating arrangement is spacious where you can sit anywhere including outside. Lunch special you can get a small pizza for 7.99/9.99 (cheese/pep). I got the special hot chicken mac and cheese pizza that has pickles. This was INCREDIBLE. It was beyond my expectations. The ordering when you walk up and waiting is a nice touch for quick paced and turnaround time is very good. The customer service was great. If you are a fan of beer, you will love this place. Great overall experience.

This was my second time here and I waited for 30 mins before checking on my salad and pizza. The guy running around couldn't give me a time after asking the kitchen 2 times. And then he finally said "that's my manager if you need to talk to him"The manager Ryan voided my transaction after he told me it would be another 20 minutes. Shocking they wouldn't even bring my salad out while I was waiting for the pizza. I understand places get busy. But I'm paying over $30 for a drink, salad and small pizza. Asked to tip on it even though we do the work ourselves, including picking the food up at the counter and filling our drinks. And no one even bothered to let me know it would be 45 mins to get food.

Love this place! It has been so nice having Tailgate Brewery in South Nashville (also known as Antioch). The staff are friendly, beer selection is great and pizza is delicious! Join the Mug Club for great discounts!

Great food! Great beer! Chill vibe and great service. I had the pizza and my wife had the fiesta salad. We loved all of it. The Basic Pumpkin ale was the bast pumpkin brew I've ever had we took some home as well! Will be back!

The pros:-Customer service. The employee who took our order was a saint. I was with a bunch of elderly women who are super annoying and the employee took it in stride. Kudos to her!-The wide variety of beer.-The space was well decorated and had tons of seating and TVs.The cons:-Possibly the worst pizza I've EVER had. After a bite of one slice, I started pulling the cheese off. But the remaining sauce was so bland, I had to drown it with salt and red pepper flakes.-They charge extra for hot sauce.That pizza is now sitting in my stomach like a rock. Would return for another flight, but would eat elsewhere (Shake Shack prolly).

Still love this place. Beer is good, pizza is awesome. People are friendly and nice. Not crowded if you go in the early afternoons. Half price pizza on Wednesdays! And join their mug club - it's worth it. You get $2 off every beer and get to use a bigger glass.

We ordered the loaded taco fries basket, 1/2 pound hot honey wings, Detroit style birria pizza, and a medium whipped ricotta pizza. Everything was just ok. I think the best items were the loaded taco fries basket and the whipped ricotta pizza. They weren't like omg so good, gotta have it again, but they were fine. The hot honey wings weren't anything special. The birria pizza wasn't special either. The consume was thick and tasted like tomatoes. We chose to have the cilantro on the side by the way. I wasn't wow'd but if I had no choice, I'd come back to try a different pizza.

This is our weekly go-to spot! The beer selection is always changing so there is something new and exciting on tap. The pizza is some of the best in town. I am always so excited to see the newest Pizza of the Month as it is always a hit! Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The atmosphere is definitely more of a sports bar, hence the name Tailgate, but also offers a family ambiance as well. It's very open, quite loud but not uncomfortable. The pizza was a bit pricey at $30.00 + for a large and took no less than 45 mins to get, which I think had we known that ahead of time, we wouldn't have gone here because we were really hungry. This is certainly a place you don't want to go with really hungry/hangry kiddos because there isn't enough to keep them busy while you wait.

I have been a fan of Tailgate for years, and this location maintains the same high quality I expect from them.The staff are all incredibly friendly.Every food item we've tried has been exceptional, and I would like to mention the Birria Pizza in particular.Their beer menu is ever-changing, but some of the staples shouldn't be missed! Peanut Butter Milk Stout is our go-to.
