This cash only joint is what you think of when you picture old school Chinese BBQ.Come early because when they sell out, they close the shop down.Hands down some of the best char siu pork and roast duck you can get in Chinatown can be found here.The pork has a nice flavor and isn't overly sweet.

The pork had a weird funky smell and taste to it. A half pound of pork and duck (which by the way was mostly all bone) ran about $25 and they really didn't speak much English so I just pointed to what I wanted and obliged the total on the register display. The storefront, which is pretty much at the end of Wentworth Ave prior to the on-ramp, looked like there was nothing and the business seemed closed until I walked in, almost like they hadn't a customer all day.

The roasted pork is so good that my mom would order it for us from time to time. This place is popular for that and it is always sold out. Since we are 2.5 hrs. away so we try to get all the goodies home. You can put it in the air fryer to heat it up.

$12 for half a roasted duck, this is a price that you can't find anywhere else in Chicagoland. The meat and flavors are unbeatable too. A must visit every trip to Chinatown. But be warned, this is a Chinatown old school venue, small, dim and .... use ur imaginations :-p

This roast duck was incredible! It doesn't look like much from the outside but the duck was fresh and the skin beautifully tasty. Cash only. Can't wait to come back to try their chicken!!

I have an in to the various up to date gossip and info when it comes to Chinatown ins and outs probably because my family used to own a restaurant in Chinatown. By far the current state is that Tai Ho Yee's has the best BBQ duck & pork in Chinatown. They used to work for Golden Country many moons ago and was able to purchase the store from the original owners and now they wholesale to many of the restaurants and retail to the folks too, but only with cash.Their menu only consists of the meat and it's carry out only. They don't sell rice, sides, or groceries. They're a typical Chinese family, they speak broken English, but enough to make a sale and noisy enough because they want to figure out who I am and where I belong amongst the Asian families around here. Prices have gone up since the 2015 photos and the Peking Duck whole was $17.50 and the BBQ pork was $7.50 a pound.

Amazing food here! Coming here from San Francisco , the bbq pork and everything else is just as good. This place is located all the way towards the end of Chinatown right at the corner so you won't miss it. Although I am not from here, it seems like there is a ton of parking around here. I've seen many people park right in front, grab their food to go and just leave right after. I do highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for roast duck or pork! This place is cash only but it's not too expensive as you get a good portion for the amount you pay.

We ordered a whole roast pig for Christmas this year and it was absolutely the most delicious roast pork we have ever head! The skin was perfectly crispy and the meat was tender and amazing!! Thank you so much for the preparation and best Christmas meal we've ever had!!!

You want perfectly roasted pork then you get it here. It's been around forever I hope they stick around forever. Great roasted pork and chicken. It's truly a gem in Chinatown. They are true to their product.
