Tacos Tecalitlan

I got the chicharonnes burrito here and it was for the most part good. I enjoyed the generous portions for what you get for $7, which is a very satisfying meal. What I wasn't a fan of was they add everything to the burrito, including pickled jalapeños, which did not mesh too well with the rest of the burrito. For a no thrills, quick eat, this is still pretty solid.

I'm a Hispanic from Texas and was craving some Mexican food. This is authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend.

Tacos are smaller but delicious none the less. Recommend to get a couple more than your usual order to fill up. Eating the food there is the way to go. We've ordered to go a couple times and every time, there was either something wrong or missing with our order. However having eaten at the restaurant countless time, we have never had any problems. It does get busy at times where both indoor and outdoor spaces fill up quickly. Luckily, food comes out relatively quick so people flow in and out at a good pace. Def recommend their chicharon, Al pastor, and fish tacos above the other meats.

The food is excellent, the prices were good as was the service. Ordered a gordita and my husband ordered the nachos. Both were served hot, and the portions were a good size too. You can order at the window outside or order inside. You have the option to eat in or to go. First time here and we'll definitely try again. They also have lots of Mexican snack products to choose from at the counter. They also serve beer! There was a nice mix of patrons and the place was full both inside and out.

On our way to our campsite at Deception Pass State Park, we stopped by this delightful taco place recommended by one of my coworkers. Tacos Tecalitlan has both indoor and outdoor seating areas with plenty of parking. Very open and well ventilated outdoor area and the indoor area was nicely air conditioned. Staff were friendly and smiles were freely given. Love it. I am not hugely into Mexican food in general and I certainly cannot claim to know a lot about it, either. All I know is that when I go to California, my friends there take me to amazing Mexican food places and their tacos are absolutely amazing.When I had tacos here, I almost have that feeling of being California. Their taco selections vary in lots of variety of protein choices and they were wonderfully savory. We now have our permanent stop on our way to Deception Pass!

Got like 10 different tacos just to try out the different flavors that they had. I think I liked the chicken the most since it was both flavorful and the texture. The pork ones were pretty hit or miss since they all felt a little too dry. The beef ones were pretty good too but not as good as the chicken, and the texture just wasn't as expected for them. Was pretty busy on a weekend afternoon but they have a lot of space and service was pretty quick.

Well deserved top taco ranking for Western Washington in Seattle Times. Chicharron tacos are perfect balance of crunchy and tender pork in particular. Appreciate the low $2.25 cost per taco. Cabeza also very good. I might just have to try the pozole next time.

It has been two years since I was here last, but it's much busier than it was then especially when school is open. The tacos were great. The torta I had was one of the better ones I've had. The pricing is very reasonable. Ambiance can be noisy when the HS students are having lunch. So come after 1:30. Will be back
