As far as good tacos go, these don't disappoint. At $3 a pop (as of 7/9/2024) it was nice to get tacos that weren't $5 each like most taco shops have increased their prices to. Found this place on the fly and it was bussin! I had the asada, chorizo, carnitas, and al pastor (adobada) and they were all great. Though the race for the top taco was close between the carnitas and asada, the asada was a bit too salty for my liking so I gave it to the carnitas but I think how salty food is is typically a preference. The pineapple agua fresca I had was a perfect pairing to wash everything down. 10/10 would come here again!

The high reviews gave me high hope for great tacos. Nothing stands out. Service was average, ordered and that was it. Cool outside seating. The carne asada was super salty.Al Pastor was dry. Chorizo did not taste too well. And Cabeza was just too dry. Overall would not return. But will say, the pricing is very reasonable.

The guys at the Valvoline told me this was the best place to get tacos in the neighborhood... They were right ! Traditional and Classic Mexican style food. The tacos and salsas have a good citrus flavor profile. Sitting by the Bay breeze at a taco stand is nice

Street tacos with outstanding flavor. I called my order in and the person answering the phone was very helpful with thorough information about the different meat for the tacos. In addition to the usual meats they also offer buche, lengua, and cabeza. We ordered almost $100 worth on the fly and they had everything ready without waiting long. This is a catering truck so keep in mind if the weather isn't the best. Definitely worth a try if you're a taco lover

Some of the best tacos I've had in San Diego and, for $3 bucks a pop (at least in May 2024), they will definitely fill you up. Came on a Tuesday night (Taco Tuesday, anyone?) and it wasn't too busy. Lady taking the order from the fluorescent green truck parked next to a 99 cent store was very sweet. There is some seating outside, but it was cold so we decided to take it to-go. I ordered 2 adobada, 2 chorreada, 1 carnitas, and 1 cueritos: Adobada: Their adobada was a bit on the drier side, personally, but I still enjoyed them. The guacamole and cilantro/onions helped. The meat itself was very flavorful. Overall, a solid adobada but doesn't stand out. Chorreada: My favorite taco in my order. I think it's different cuts of pork, but I'm not super sure since other reviews have not mentioned it. I searched up chorreada and it was most definitely not what the results gave me, so it must be their signature taco. The meat was very fatty and juicy, which could be why the adobada seemed a bit dry to me.Carnitas: Probably my second favorite taco. It wasn't dry, which I usually expect from getting carnitas. Just like the chorreada, it was very juicy but the meat itself was a lot more lean and had more of a chew to it. Cueritos (pork skin): I was 75% expecting it to be fried pork skin, but it was not. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean it wasn't good. I did not enjoy my initial bite as much as my last bite, so that is to say it was more enjoyable the more I ate it. Could I eat more than one of the cueritos taco, though? No. It was so fatty, I think my body would have felt very, very bad if I ate more than one. TLDR: Solid tacos (see above for details), only $3/taco which comes with a good amount of filling, topped with guacamole and cilantro/onion, grilled onions and sliced radish on the side, bright green truck outside a 99 cent store, seating outside, very nice people, salsa they give is very spicy (expect the salsa verde).

This place is GOOD!It's a bright green food truck that you can't miss. There are a few tables and chairs right out front so you can sit and eat. I didn't eat there since it got really cold and windy so took my order to go.The woman taking orders was super nice. I ordered adobada, carne asada and nopales/chorizo tacos and they did not disappoint. My daughter said the adobada is so good and she can't wait to eat it again. The tortillas were perfect and the meat was seasoned well. I also ordered the carne asada quesadilla for my super picky son and he loved it. Overall, good experience and great food for my family. Will definitely be back!

I have been wanting to try this food truck for quite a while. You can't miss it, with its almost neon green color. They are known for their street tacos, among other items, so I ordered two adobada tacos and one chorizo and nopal tacos. All three were $2.95 each. The chorizo and nopal or cactus was very good. It was plain chorizo with no egg cooked with the nopales. The chorizo tasted very good and so did the cactus. One thing that I really liked about all three tacos was the yellow corn tortillas. They were very tasty and had a good thickness about them. The adobada was good too. The marinaded pork meat had a good ratio of meat to fat and was flavorful. I liked that there were some crispy bits inside mixed with the tender pieces. The guacamole was very good too. It was creamy and well seasoned. They offer a few covered tables for customers. The young lady at the window was nice. They also offer burritos, mulitas, and quesadillas.

I was looking for great Mexican food and was able to find Tacos La Chorreada with the help of Yelp. The fellow Yelpers rated this highly and I totally agree!I enjoyed the Carne Asada burrito which is simply stuffed with delicious carne asada , guacamole and salsa (just the way I like it). For $13, the burrito was twice the size of a Chipotle burrito and twice as tasty (and Chipotle does make tasty food). I also had a couple Lengua tacos. The person who took my order was friendly and the food was ready in no time. They had a couple long benches in front for seating. I would definitely come back here whenever I return to San Diego:)
