my favorite mexican spot in san diego! we live nearby and just decided to walk here because we were starving. the portions are huge! my boyfriend can eat a lot more than me and he said he was struggling to finish his carne asada burrito because there was just so much.we decided to eat there on their patio area and the nice woman who took our order gave us samples of all their aguas frescas flavors. the watermelon was sooo refreshing, although i'm partial to their strawberry one! their horchata was so yummy, transported me back to mexico lol. i was also able to try their jamaica and that one was also super refreshing on a hot day!their birria tacos are HUGE and the flavor reminded me of when i was in guasave. i don't think i can eat birria tacos anywhere else in san diego now. the carne asada burrito was so flavorful, i drool every time i think about it.10/10 will be back for more!

The food is excellent and the owners are very pleasant and kind.The food is quite authentic and delicious. Also their prices are very reasonable.Lastly, the seating outside is clean and well kept.I highly recommend it !!

I love this taco shop. I've tried all the other Mexican spots in the area and this is by far the best. Their carne asada tacos are different in that they top them with beans. Different twist but I personally like it but you can have them without. I've also tried their birria tacos which are delicious! They have awesome taco Tuesday deals on most tacos. Highly encourage you to stop by on taco Tuesday. I've also had their carne asada torta which was very good. My go to is the super nachos. I like that they use actual cheese not that fake nacho cheese stuff. The employees are very friendly and if you go there enough they remember you so the interactions become very personable. My first time here they gave me a free adobada taco to try. I thought that was really cool and generous. Please come support this small family owned business.

Tacos El Nino Santana is the building where the "Tako Factory" flourished for many years. This new place is family run business, literally, given it's all family members running this establishment.For an early dinner, I had the adobada burrito filled with savory marinated pork meat, pico de gallo, and guacamole all wrapped tightly in a warm flour tortilla. The adobada was very good but I felt like the burrito needed more meat inside of it. The meat was very well marinated. Both the guacamole and pico were tasty, especially the guacamole. The red hot sauce in the bottle was super! It was well balance and offer very good flavor and a good medium heat. The place offers a small amount of inside seating and a larger outside patio. Customer service was very friendly. The "dona" of the family walked around asking everyone how their food was. I liked that.

Stop by here, thinking it was the previous Mexican restaurant, which was Top shelf. The food was amazing and the guys who ran it were very cool. I I was here and I was hungry, so I thought I would try the food. The pollo was dry and loaded with too much cilantro. Also as I was walking out, the guy cooking yelled at me to come back and said I hadn't paid for my watermelon drink I had to go on my phone and show them $2.20 for the drink after previously tipping them 20% on the Intrusive square machine. Not coming back.

The taco shop was close. Ordered the carne asada quesadilla and it was pretty good. The chef offered me and my wife free pork tacos. The employees were very hospitable and nice. The only negative I have is the location. The sign says another name which makes it seem you're at the wrong location. Would recommend to family and friends.

Fresh tasty food, great service. California burrito is better than most places nearby. I will come back to try other food on the menu.

I've been coming to them since they were a stand in front of what is now the full business. I live two blocks away at most and they don't have loud music except on their inaugural day. The food is beyond authentic literally tastes like tacos back in mx. and they're always trying something new or offering free tasters. The couple that runs the shop is soooo nice and so helpful and welcoming the service is always on point .

This Family owned Mexican Food is a must!! Very delicious Tacos & Tamales! And also have Churro's! Food is Superb Excellent & the price is right!
