Tacos El Gordo

Got the Taco Plate. Everything was FIRE. This is my 1st or 2nd fav spot now. Always an absolute treat. Gyaaaat.

Great place for tacos! Went with my coworkers two weeks in a row. Highly recommended.

We were driving up along Tukwila after work and craving for street tacos when we saw this Mexican food truck so we stopped by. We were not disappointed at all, we ordered the steak tacos and sure enough we wanted more! They give generous amount of meat. A must try, good location very close to Taco Time and Home Depot.

It was one of the one days where I did not really know what I wanted for lunch. The place I originally was going to was closed so I headed back to work and the closest place to stop was Taco Time. I figured why not, because I really just wanted some Tater Tots. While pulling into the parking lot, I noticed the food truck and thought well why not. Anything is better than Taco Time. I ordered the taco plate (3 tacos with rice and beans) with carne asada. My food came out pretty fast. I was also served two salsas, pickled jalapenos & carrots and a mint. I went to my car and opened my to go container and was impressed just at first glance. I honestly wasn't sure what I was getting myself into but at first looks, I was pleasantly pleased. I took my food to work and ate my desk. My first bites were of the beans and rice and I had to take a minute and pause. I literally felt like I hit the jackpot. Those rice and beans were slamming and did not disappoint! The tacos were good too. The grilled onions were pefection and the salsas were deliciouso! My only critique is the carne asada was slightly on the salty side but still delicious. Honestly, I sat there thinking while eating my food - do I go back on my way and grab a plate for dinner. I will have to find them on IG so I can follow them and get their schedule. Definitely, will return and try more!

I almost didn't want to leave a review because I don't want this place to blow up and change anything, but I can't keep it a secret. This place is amazing! I love taco trucks and this one is my new top 1 choice! The chicken quesadilla was fire! My husband ate 3/4 and was full (this never happens) and it was so loaded with delicious meat! I had asada tacos and they were the best street tacos I've had! Can't wait to come back!

While everybody raves about the Adobada, don't forget the try the plain quesadilla which is overflowing with a delicious Baby Jack cheese that is made in classical Oaxaca style. Tacos el Gordo is a Tijuana classic that has spread like wildfire across the southwest. Although the prices have gotten higher than the border wall the quality of the food keeps people lined up like you're coming back from Mexico.

Good food, good price, great service. Sometimes hard to order online but it never disappoints.
