Tacos Don Hector

This taco truck is A MUST! Tacos were good and good quality. I ordered a Vampiro with el pastor and a Don Hector taco with Asada. I couldn't pick which one was better. Both were Bombdotcom Highly recommend giving them a try

Enjoyed my lunch at "Tacos Don Hector," an elevated taco food truck run by the friendliest husband and wife. It was kind of an outdoor patio taco Café they use fresh ingredients and quality USDA prime beef and meats. They have a small menu, but everything is really good. I tried the Taco Don Hector $6.00, Taco regular Pastor $4.00, and Vampiro $6.00, which was my favorite . They have a Groupon available to save some money, and I was able to take a Burrito Don Hector home so my wife wouldn't be mad at me for going without her. Please support them and go enjoy some delicious tacos, quesadillas, and burritos.

This has got to be the best outdoor setup with amazing food! Service is fast with this husband and wife duo serving you up some of there delicious family recipes. They have got an amazing story to tell! The burrito was my favorite! The chori taco was good but packs some spice.

SO GOOD. The meat was fresh and tender, the service was great. I tried the pastor and asada and liked both. Highly recommend.

BEST TACOS IN ARIZONA! The carne asada is made with high quality meat and is seasoned perfectly. The tacos don't have a ton of fat like other places, so they're worth every penny. Jamaica is perfect, not too sweet! Hector, the owner, gave us fantastic service, and is truly a genuine person that refuses to sacrifice quality. Great outdoor seating, with fans and mist to ease the heat. I'll take the drive from the west side for these tacos, any day!

I think I just found my new favorite taco spot! (Top 3 for sure! ) Local natives Hector and his wife Rebecca have something truly special going here. 1st were gonna start with the quality of meat they use which is USDA Prime diezmillo! (chuck steak) I don't think any taco truck in the valley uses that and u can truly taste the difference. 2nd he uses nixtamal corn tortillas from a local tortierria which I love. There more earthy then the regular yellow corn tortillas. And 3rd they have there salsa game down to a T! The red reminds me of a smoky taquera Style salsa that u see at the carnicerias. As for recommendations you can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my fav was the taco don Hector! He puts slices of hatch green Chile and cheese inside and it just makes for even more flavor. Not to mention the location is very inviting with games, shade and outdoor misters. This is also gonna be a perfect spot for the summer and it's on historic Grand Avenue that's being brought back to life. So trust when I say we have a new taco gem in town Phoenix and don't sleep on Tacos Don Hector. They will literally treat u like familia!

Went here today for lunch and it was so good, I got the carne asada quesadilla. The whole setup is nice and clean and the guy at the register was really nice.

I've been driving by Tacos Don Hector for about a couple weeks now and noticed them by their attractive area - it's on the south corner of 12th Ave/Pierce as you're on Grand Ave a little before/after the 7th Ave/Van Buren intersection They have nice green turf, covered areas to eat, as well as nice open patio seating. They also have misters to keep cool and my friend and I were comfortable enough under the misters to stay and eat and have a nice conversation even on this hot June day.I had their Tacos Don Hector - one with Pastor and one with Carne Asada; both were great!!! Tender, flavorful meat and just delicious. The owners were also super friendly and the food was ready quickly and was hot. They have a nice little condiment area and a pot with warm roasted jalapeños.My friends and I will definitely be back!!!

My wife has been bugging me to try this place for a few weeks now. I finally went last night and I'm not lying when I say this might be the best taco I ever had. And the patty melt on the menu was absolutely glorious. Great service too.This place is fantastic. Definitely my new go to taco spot. I can't wait to watch this place blow up (figuratively, of course)!
