Tacos Chilangos

Avondale has so many good Mexican spots. I'm a junky for bean and cheese burritos.. The horchata here is also fire and if you are a fan you'll enjoy it. The asada and pastor are also good. Salsa is spicy and they always hook it up with the extra cheese

We traveled from Las Vegas to Arizona and found this spot. The staff is great and the restaurant is clean and spacious.We ordered quite a few items and nothing was disappointing. I especially liked the carne asada tacos and the hibiscus agua fresca. My husband loved the quesabirria tacos and consomé.Next time we are in Arizona, we'll make sure to make a pitstop here!

Found them through Yelp when husband was in the mood for tacos. First time in on a Tuesday and they have a 20% off deal on their street tacos. I ordered 3 to go and they were packaged well, delicious and very filling. Not really any filler or fat that you can get at other taco places. I chose: cabeza, carnitas, and Birria. We also got a side of rice and beans to go. For me the pricing was fare at the 20%off, but without a discount it can add up quickly. The rice/beans alone were almost $15...but delicious! Not many places that I enjoy their beans, but these were smooth, creamy, and spiced just right for my taste. I'd probably get a burrito next time to have them again.The place has great aesthetics, with a fun and modern feel. The employees were kind, attentive, friendly smiles, great communication, and take pride in their work. My very frugal husband ordered a few asada tacos and my son went all out and got 4 birria, two with cheese. (He couldn't finish them, he was so full.) we all loved our choices and said we would return, even though it's a bit of a drive for us.It is a smaller place, but their mix of hi-top long tables and regular round seating makes the most of it. Very comfortable and not too close, but the tvs help in case you are, you are still able to have a conversation without everyone hearing you.

My wife found this place on our way to Phoenix and it was great. I would say this is equivalent to about 3-4 tacos. They make the custom tortilla there. Service was pretty fast and the taco was very tasty. I got the combo meats. If your in the area I would check it out.

I'm from LA so I'm used to bomb ass quesotacos & I used to cater with a taco lady so maybe my expectations be set high because these were so mid + I sent back the shrimp tacos because it was barely any shrimp and the sour cream or sauce was old so it threw off the whole taco, luckily without hassle they refunded my order back to my card so I appreciate that because I was disappointed thinking of Doty's Taco Truck in Hawthorne, bad food in Phoenix make me miss LA more

The most delicious Mexico DF style food in AZ! Their chicharrón prensado is to die for, stop sleeping on Tacos Chilangos and go there now!

flavorful food, i enjoyed everything i ordered! the carne asada torta was assembled well and the bread was toasted perfectly. it comes with jalapeños inside but for extra spice i got an order of chile toreados, soo spicy and good. the pepino limonada is refreshing & sweet. i thought it would be more tarty but i still enjoyed it. also had to try their carne asada queso taco and it did not disappoint. the tortilla was full of flavor, would definitely order again. great service and salsa cart as well!

I have been going to Tacos Chilangos since the original location. I LOVE their fresh tortillas and authentic flavors. As soon as you walk in, the aroma of carne asada being grilled is in the air. I brag about this place to everyone or anyone who will listen! Thank goodness they opened another location in Verrado because now every time I visit my parents, I have an excuse for tacos. I always order the quesatacos and pastor (w pineapple) not every place does that, definitely the bean burrito and a Cadillac margarita. Even writing this review is making me hungry. We need mas tacos like this in the East Valley!

Great food, quick efficient service and a trendy appeal. Great vibes here! Just stopped for a quick bite for dinner. Definitely will be back. Great food at a very reasonable price.
