Tacos Calafia - Surprise

We love getting tacos here. My kids love it as well. Staff is super friendly and we like to order online and just come in to pick up to avoid any waiting.

Coming to Tacos Calafia made for a perfect post workout brunch. My hubby had the cabeza burrito, while I ordered the nopales, cabeza, and carne asada street tacos on flour tortillas. He and I shared the quesadilla and added pollo to it.There are three salsas today, medium spice red and green salsas and a decently hot red super spicy salsa. They also offered guacamole, chopped white onions and cilantro and limes to enhance the already delicious flavors of all the foods. I ordered a Michelada, which was bigger than I thought it would be! It felt very refreshing along with the tacos. I ordered mine with Dos Equis beer. I like having such a great taco place nearby. They offer and awesome happy hour with 2 for one margaritas and there are also family meals you can take out if you can't eat there.

The food was just okay. The chicken was pretty bland. The asada was well seasoned and our favorite of the three tacos we had. The pastor had a great texture and wasn't goopy. It was a little too sweet for my liking. The two medium salsa's lacked flavor. The guacamole was an avocado puree. The pastor vampiro with grilled onion and a jalapeño was very crunchy and had great flavor. The service was fast and the restaurant had a very family feel too it which was nice. I wouldn't drive out of the way to go here but overall not bad food.

Perfect taco Tuesday experience. Our service great. Tacos were tasty. This was a craving my mom had after her chemotherapy.

We had the Carne Asada tacos, which were small street tacos with just the meat on there was no cheese no toppings or nothing. The salsa bar was almost empty. Very disappointed and won't be going back again. $30 for eight lousy tacos.

Came to visit family for the week and my sister brought us here.Hands down, some of the best tacos el pastor I've ever had! Service was fast and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting.I will be hitting them up again, before we leave!! If I lived here? They'd be a weekly staple for me. You can bet on that!!!

Food was outstanding! Tried cactus tacos for the first time - honestly, I'd eat that again in a heartbeat. Overall great experience!

Don't let the small menu and Tacos Calafia scare you away as the tacos here are pretty legit. They are street tacos, so I suggest you order at least three. I decided on four care asada (other protein choices include al pastor, pollo, cabeza, and nopales) tacos with corn tortillas. While I waited for my order, I decided to stock up on their salsa to get some onions, cilantro, hot salsa verde, lime wedges, and grilled jalapenos. My tacos were tender and had decent amount of flavor to them. Definitely hit the spot! If I lived in the area, I could see myself coming here for HH and Taco Tuesdays to take advantage of their specials.

This place changed my life, highly recommend anything with the carne asada. My order is either Tacos or a Quesadilla (sometimes both) Horchata, Michelada, doesn't matter what you get you'll love it.

Poor quality tacos over price for the amount of meat you get I order 6 tacos 2 small waters 34 dollars tacos had no meat in them they were to greasy couldn't even hold the taco. Taco was falling apart. Wish I had taken pictures. Basically a greasy taco is what you get to eat in this place with 3-4 tiny strips of meat.
