Tacos Calafia

From order time to the tacos being ready was literally seconds. The place was very clean as well as the staff was friendly. I only had the carne asada tacos with corn tortillas but the taste was amazing. The salsa bar was also so good. I had a margarita with chamoy and tajin and that was nice as welll. My friend had the micalada and she said it was really good as well. I definitely will be going back. Went back the next day for more tacos. Lol. So good

I've been to Tacos Calafia before just another location. It had great tacos just not as good as others I've been to in the greater Phoenix areas. I always get the carne asada which is still seasoned well and they give great portions. They have a large menu option. My two biggest downsides here are no pico de gallo in the salsa cart and no birria. Other than that they have everything else. The inside is large and has great seating. They also serve alcohol and fountain drinks and have outdoor seating. Great location as well inside a plaza with other shopping!

Honestly I wish Yelp would let us go at least half points. Tacos Calafia should be a 4.5 and is our new spot after moving to the area I think after our recent visit. Tijuana style food and a simple taco stand vibe on a large scale. These tacos hit the spot! The Vampiro tacos were amazing , the pollo was tender seasoned perfectly the al pastor was fantastic! Small menu but perfect for what they do best! Can't wait to go back for taco Tuesday. I see reviews of people griping about service. I just believe they're not keeping in mind. This is a taco stand. The service we received was great.

My favorite place in the northwest valley to get tacos!!!Everything is very fresh, and you can put as many toppings as you like!

Food is decent. This place is more about its convenience over anything else. Open seating and a walk up tablet to place your orders. They have a bar that allows you to help yourself to toppings for your food which is a nice touch. I would give 5 stars but the food was just good not anything out of the ordinary and prices were normal pricing you'd see anywhere in some cases maybe even a bit higher than other places but the topping bar is where they make up for it. There is salsas and guacamole and cilantro limes and onions.

BOMB TACOS I love tacos Calafia. This location is fire and honestly they're consistent with the quality no matter which location. $2.89 for a taco that's a decent size is an absolute steal and on Tuesday it's 20% off. I LOVE LOVE LOVE tacos calafia. My fav taco spot in the valley. Margaritas and salsas are yummy too!

My husband and I were craving Mexican food when we came across Tacos Calafia the other night. Found them on Yelp with 4.4 stars, so we gave it a shot.Walked in at 4 pm and there was already a line, but there was a salsa bar by the door which was a nice touch. The place was pretty spacious, not much in terms of decorations though.We noticed an order machine by the pickup area, not sure why no one was using it, but we tried it out and our food came out super quick. We got tacos, a quesadilla, and nachos - all delicious. My husband, who loves spicy food, said it was legit.They also have a breakfast menu, so we're planning to go back and try that out soon.Definitely recommend checking them out if you're in the mood for some tasty Mexican food!

This one my first time trying out this taco spot. It was really yummy! I got the Carne Asada and Cabeza Taco. The tacos was full of flavor, hella bomb xD You can get every topping and sauces you want. The red sauce was kinda spicy with the tacos but that's how I like it, Love the green sauce tho. I also got the Carne Asada Quesadilla, It was also my favorite. The meat taste rich and has a smoky flavor, soo good! Def a good spot for Taco Enthusiasts.

I was really excited about this place because of the reviews but I am a little disappointed. I don't think this place is terrible, but it's not as good as I thought it would be. All the meats are precooked and just warmed when you order. This is standard for a lot of places but all the meat in our tacos were just kind of warm. Everything could've used a little more flavor. I really did love their salsa bar though, especially because it had guac for free! Usually that's not a thing anymore. After I loaded my taco with all the toppings and salsa, it was good, however still lacked deep flavors. Overall, decent place.

Carne asada was fatty and not much on there. Small street tacos with nothing on them except the meat. Salsa bar was almost empty. Very disappointed
