Tacos Aurora

Absolutely authentic! Not tex-mex not regional not certain place somewhere style. Just pure unadulterated tacos mexicanos. No lettuce or sour cream and cheese here folks.Marinated steak chopped up to order for Carne Asada, Braised Pork shredded when you ask for Carnitas tacos. Al Pastor like it is meant to be. Corn tortillas Warmed on a griddle and flavored by the meat that is placed on them. Cilantro and diced onion are the only toppings here just as in Mexico. Every plate comes with lime wedges and they have red and green fresh homemade salsa. Legit mexican sodas and horchata are available.These are the friendliest guys you could meet anywhere. No frills because it's all about the food and it shows.

Definitely trying this again when I get the chance. I got the California burrito. It wasn't my favorite thing in the world, but that was my taste preference. I had many people around me (at a firework event) say they loved it. Next time, I will try the tacos or the other burrito. It all looked amazing and the staff was friendly and clean.

How this deliciousness only has 3 and a half stars is puzzling to me because that was the best Mexican fare I've had since I left San Antonio 2 weeks ago. First, the tortillas...omg the tortillas! They're the stuff dreams are made of!!! The street tacos are served on the best homemade corn tortillas I have ever eaten. The carne asada and the pollo asado were tasty. They also had fabulous red and green hot sauce. The green was my favorite. Then the burrito...absolute perfection. Served on a large flour tortilla that also was close to the best I've ever eaten. Sadly, we're headed back to San Antonio and won't get to eat Taco Maria again. Unless they relocate to San Antonio, where I guarantee they'd have a 5 star rating. Although they would need to be a little friendlier in SA. Our food truck vendors make you feel more like family when you show up at the window.

Clarksvilles best place for authentic tacos! I got the carnitas and al pastor. The carnitas were a bit tough but very well seasoned. The al pastor was spot on!! The wait was long but well worth it!

This is the food at it's best. The California burrito is not just a California burrito but it is the California burrito. Even if I was back in Fresno I would choose Tacos Maria over Robertito's any day. The salsa is on point. Did I mention the burrito? I can't wait to try the tacos. PS I think I am in love with the green salsa. I picked up lunch for the office at Tacos Maria and claimed I forgot the salsa just so I could have extra and I would do it again.

If you are from California, this is the spot you want to eat. The thing I miss most from back home is the food, but these guys are Cali grown and serve it up quick and full of rich flavor and at an amazing price. By far the best Mexican place to eat in my 4 years of being in this area.

I purchased the chicken street tacos, but found these to be the worst. My husband tried Tacos Maria back in the fall and loved it; but he too thought they were awful this time. I'm not sure what changed. But I do know I won't be back.

Best taco's I have had since moving to TN. Next time I will make sure to get the fish tacos.

These guys were at ascend amphitheater and had terrible service! He messed up orders, seemed to get frustrated and took it out on customers. I watched a white woman ask for an extra paper plate to carry her tacos across the grass so they would be covered and I, a black woman, did the same since I had two orders as well. He refused to give me one and then stacked my tacos on top on one after the bottom of the plate was sitting on the outside of the public counter! Dirty plate directly on top of the food we are suppose to eat. Confronted him about it and he said, "well, I just wiped it off!" Not true. It was a minimum of a 30 minute wait and he did not wipe the counter and multiple people came and touched all over the counter with bugs and all. I would have paid for the extra plate if he requested. Taste: tacos (the non-contaminated tacos) weren't great. Edible. Bland in all honesty. Won't be back. And won't refer.

These guys are now Tacos Aurora, and they are still putting out great food. Arthur is great and really cares about his food, This is legit. The burrito with fries in it? Get that. The watermelon agua fresca is a yes.
