Looking for a delicious and affordable spot to grab tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and more in the Chicago area? Make sure to check out Taco and Burrito Express #3! I ordered the 3 chicken enchiladas platter covered in verde salsa. I also ordered a side of chips and their housemade spicy salsa. Our table also ordered the mouthwatering 3 for $15 birria and cheese tacos and the fully loaded burrito. We ordered our meal and had it delivered to our table within 15 minutes. Quickly grab your food to go or enjoy your meal at one of the tables inside of the restaurant! This is a great location to visit if you are looking for a quick meal!

Not really a place for indoor dining but still a tasty spot for food on the go. They have the staples, from tacos to tostadas and actually have very good French fries, as well! Service is always friendly and food is served fast. Give T&BE a try if you're in the area but don't make a special trip.

I don't get it. I had high hopes for this place due to the great reviews that I saw across platforms. Unfortunately, as someone who is an authentic taco connoisseur, I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered 3 asada tacos (authentic style) along with chips and salsa. I was provided with a small bag of old chips and a generous portion of salsa. My small tacos felt like they had been topped with grease before being packaged & served to me. When I took my first bite, I could see grease being squeezed out. Furthermore, there was very minimal taste and the steak tasted old (to complement the old chips). Maybe I just caught them on an off day, but for this experience, I was left wishing that I had ordered from a different restaurant.

I've passed by Tacos & Burrito Express many times and finally had the opportunity to pop in for a to-go dinner order. I came on the a whim, 30 minutes before close (they close at 9:00 pm), and was hungry for something satisfying and filling.I decided on the Taco Dinner (2 tacos) that comes with rice & beans. I got the steak taco and the fish taco. Both were made to order and you get to choose between taco toppings: lettuce and tomatoes, or onions and cilantro. I went the traditional route and got the onions and cilantro, and their tacos are served on double corn tortillas.The food was ready within 10 minutes, and while they have tables for a sit-down meal, I think most of their patrons do carry-out. I asked for salsa verde and spicy salsa to-go and they came in small tubs. Next time, I would ask for a few extra tubs of salsa verde.The restaurant was bright and colorful on the inside, and while I was waiting for my order, they had a comfortable spot to the side where you can sit down and wait. If I'm ever feeling like a hearty, no frills, taco dinner, this place will hit the spot! I can't wait to come back to try their burritos and tortas.

Overdue review from awhile back. Very cute spot with some fun decor. Busy take out night. We just stopped in as our first taco spot of the night. I got my usual veggie taco and ordered the dude his steak taco. I got a side of rice and beans also for good measure. thank you for making a veggie taco more than the usual bean/rice/lettuce/tomato combo. It had broccoli, carrots, onions and I don't remember what else I just remember it was delish! The man really liked his steak too. Rice and beans were *chef's kiss.

Love this place! Recently moved here from Texas and miss the hispanic cuisine the most. I tried Taco & Burrito Express 3 while on a hunt to fill the "Tex-Mex" food craving, and I wasn't disappointed. This is my local spot and recommend it anytime I can.

Fish tacos are amazing here!!! Al pastor on the other hand were nothing special and really greasy. Food takes about 10 minutes to be ready. Cute interior with a few tables if you want to dine in. Salsa available with each order the green was ok and red was extremely spicy. Will try other things on the menu in the future. Street parking out front.

This restaurant is near my part-time job. They have good food and efficient service. The area around North and Ashland has a surplus of Mexican options, but this one of the better places to go. Try the quesabirrias!
