Taco Station

I've been eating here for quite some time and have been meaning to leave a review. We have had many menu items including tacos, of course, tortas, sope, and quesadillas to name a few. We have always had great food here along with courteous service. It doesn't look like much of a place and if you aren't looking, it's easy to pass by. Don't let the looks fool you. This is legit Mexican food.

As a well seasoned taco connoisseur, I don't take my tacos lightly. Their elegance. The complexity. Their beauty. The love.Tacos are designed to satisfy every tastebud, and to cure any form of depression.It's rare I rate any place which distributes man's greatest food, with anything more than 3 stars but Taco Station has earned an impressive 4.It's a sin to add lettuce to burritos I do appreciate the freshness and (although timely) the length it takes to prepare our order.There's a small area to sit outside, under cover but I wouldn't suggest it, unless it's nice weather and you're comfortable with trains blaring your eardrums to burst. I've tried roughly a handful of "Mexican food" spots, and Taco Station is IT, for us. Viva Mexico

The food is always amazing and has been for the few years we've been enjoying from here!! We drive almost 2 hours to get food here. Last visit though, we were a little disappointed. They didn't give us some of our food ordered and paid for, and we were shocked at the difference we've never experienced before! 1 burrito was half the size of the other one but were the exact same thing ordered, they left out 1 of our salsas, queso dips, and order of chips. We always get the same thing. Yes we should've verified that we got our food order correct before leaving, but haven't had any issues thus far, so we trusted for it not to be like that!! We had already gotten back onto the interstate to be stuck in traffic for over 30 mins so we didn't want to chance it all over again. Next time, we will definitely make sure before leaving. Hoping this was an isolated issue!

The carne asada tacos with the green salsa are awesome! They have some tables outside beside the train tracks to sit at.

We moved from CA 2 months ago and have been on the hunt for good Mexican food. We tried this place today and it's delicious! Beans and rice are so flavorful. I got the carne asana and barbacoa tacos and they were great and full of meat for Street tacos. My husband got the carne asada plate and there was so much meat, he loved it. Definitely will come back.The only downside is the seating. It's all outdoor seating and there were just too many flies. Next time we will order to go but I'm giving it 5 stars for the food!

Stopped by at 6:45AM and they are open! So awesome! Very Authentic and great food. We had their fish taco,shrimp taco, beef taco and chicken quesadilla. Very great little place that I hope stays around a long time.Since they haven't posted hours I will. Hours are m-f 6am-10pmSat-10am-10pmSun-10am-8Pm

These are SOLID Street Tacos!!!This place reminds me of some roadside Mexican places I've enjoyed driving through Texas. They were a little busy and with the traffic on Murfreesboro Rd it can be difficult to talk with the lady taking your order. I asked for a steak and a chicken taco, but was delivered two steak tacos. Not to worry, she fixed my order and gave me the extra steak taco. I loved the steak tacos, great flavor and when you add the sautéed onions...WOW!!! The chicken taco was good, but the steak overshadowed the chicken one. I did sample the two sauces provided, while the tacos didn't need any enhancements, but these sauces were too hot for my taste buds. They have outdoor seating, which was full so I just dropped my tailgate and enjoyed my lunch.

Why are you asking for a tip at a take out window ?! Charge 15% tip on $24 order for take out! $4 for handing me my food is trash . The woman shoved the card reader in my face, I couldn't even read it because she held it so high. She was not courteous or nice. Ambiance is the Highway and train and a sliver of dining space by a mechanic shop. Want come back . The food was not very flavorful , taco shell was thick and hard to bite into. The sauce was hot but not flavorful. I have definitely had much better Mexican food and service else where.

The first time my son went to Taco Station it was really good, on June 11th went for the second time it was awful the meat was dry, didn't seem fresh and hot probably won't go back for awhile...very disappointed
