Taco Palate

Great little spot near the bus stop. I had three steak tacos that had amazing seasoning. Wow, bill be back.

This place just opened a couple months ago, and is hard to find online. Unfortunately, I don't expect it to last long unless they make some big improvements.We came in on a weekday around 5pm, and there was only one other customer. We got three tacos: chicken, carne asada, and chorizo. They all came topped with lettuce, onion, tomato, and a little bit of cheese. The chicken and carne asada had hardly any taste at all. We utilized both cups of our salsa trying to flavor the tacos. The chorizo tasted okay, but chorizo itself has so much fat and spice that I'm sure even poor chorizo tastes like something. I don't like to give bad reviews to new businesses, but it just wasn't worth the money, especially when there are so many great taco places in the neighborhood.The space is decorated with middle eastern decor, which is a little odd. Maybe the space used to be for a restaurant with middle eastern cuisine?The staff member was pleasant and nice to us, and that's the only reason I'm giving this review a second star.

I had an asada burrito from here. The guy was really nice and the portions are pretty big, but my burrito meat was so chewy I had to throw it away. Not sure if this is the usual or I got a bad one but probably won't be back

This place just opened near me, it's a quick way to grab a meal any time of the day. Everything I've had here so far has been terrific and the portion size to price is an insanely good deal. Also, they have horchata!

Solid al pastor tacos. Less solid rice and beans but might have just been the day I had them.

Great place, Late night service, and good food! I got the taco dinner with 1 chicken 2 steak, and it was delicious. Quick and reasonably priced for Mexican in the city. Owner was really nice and I could tell he wants his customers to enjoy his business.

Great Mexican food. In town from Arizona. Originally from Texas. Definitely hits the spot for someone who knows authentic Mexican food.Great service.

Found this place waiting for a bus, test ordered 3 steak tacos to-go. Asked for semi crispy shells as I was not going eat them for hours. Reheated perfectly (I reheat in a skillet, low and slow). Steak was delicious and tender, will absolutely go back!

This place is super convenient for the neighborhood and the price for a taco plate with rice and beans is very reasonable. I'm not sure why anyone would call the food bland. Our tacos were all delicious and delivered quick. If you want tacos, served in styrofoam, which is a very specific type of taco to want, this place slaps. If you want (whatever else), please go to a different restaurant and don't negatively review this convenient gem. I want it to stick around.
