Taco Mich & Bar

This rating is strictly on a single order: carne asada taco. I went to several taco shops around Phoenix and ordered a single carne asada taco, "con todo" and with the shop's hottest salsa. At $1.99 this was a tasty taco. The red hot salsa was bomb. The meat was tasty but a little cold. Tortillas were hot. WillReturn.

If you can look past what the place looks like you'll be having some of the best tacos in Phoenix. The asada tacos are juicy and fresh. The spot looks old and the area is in not very welcoming, especially at night but set aside your fears or judgement and trust me on this one. Go try Taco Mich!

Was downtown for a work conference and dined here for lunch with coworkers. The place is a total dive restaurant which really excited me cause they usually have amazing food in my experience. Unfortunately the food was pretty weak IMO. The Carne Asada Burrito was mostly filler w/Rice and Beans and not my Carne Asada. It's my experience that Carne Asada burritos should have only Meat, Pico de Gallo, and Guacamole. This was missing two of those and substituted with beans and rice as previously mentioned. My coworker ordered Super Nachos and it was not fresh melted cheese and instead it had a cheap low quality cheese sauce like the stuff you buy in the can at a grocery store. Overall pretty poor quality of food. I will not be back

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - 2 specials of 5 tacos and a small drink for $9.99. Ordered cabeza (head), buche (stomach), tripitas (intestine), and language (tongue). The tacos were were small and inconsistent in filling with some super stuffed and others with barely any protein. The tripitas weren't cleaned very well so it was grainy. The lengua was a little soggy or over cooked but still enjoyable. The cabeza was a bit queasy so some citrus would have helped. The buche was great in both texture and flavor. The drink was mostly ice so it felt like we finished it in 5 sips. The red sauce didn't have much flavor other than being spicy Ambience: 3/5 - divey feel with bar on one side and food order on the other. Drive through and outdoor seating available. Loud music depending on where in the store you sit and TV was also blaring on the wall by the food counter. Older store so it feels like certain things are falling apart. Avoid the bathroom if you can Service: 3/5 - cashier was to the point. The lady giving out the food felt like she was ready to leave. She called something out but we couldn't understand and she just pointed at us saying "you, you"Value for price: 3/5 - meh on service and okay on food. The serving size was fairly small and we ended up going somewhere else to get more food. NOTE that they add a 3.99% service charge

Great cabeza tacos and Tripitas! I just took a trip to Yumm city !! Not much left to show in the picture but it was delicious!!

[3.7/5.0]Slid in here after the Pusha T concerr. It's freaking dirt cheap. I don't know how people are still complaining about prices. The al pastor tacos were pretty mid. Meat was dry to the bone, doused it in salsa to fix it. Carne asada burrito was steaming hot. The carne is not as dry as the pastor so I was glad when chomped it down. The perfect proportions in this burrito is something I can appreciate. Held it's shape well and its filled to the brim.

Yum! Nuff said. But they make me say more so I will just rattle on and on and on and on and on and on and I shared all 9 flavors of tacos they offered on a $.95 Wednesday. All were delicious!

Sunday 21/24 Food, we asked for enchilada plate not so good good, it is really visible they heat the food on a microwave, plate was vent and the salsa tasted like vinegar, plus the portions where small not like other places.Quesa birria taste okey but the tacos where not as big as I expec. Friendly staff, but we won't comeback there anymore.

Not sure how this place hasn't been sued for false advertising. There is no dollar tacos every time I come they make up some different lie about why they won't honor the massive sign outside.

Never order Uber eats from here or any deliver. They didn't bring my order and I spent $50 for 2" tacos. The lady is rude and nasty on phone. Had me pay extra for flour tortilla w my card to not even bring my tacos or burrito . Disgusting rip off ams im pregnant and starving now.
