Good shrimp tacos and asada tacos. Pleasant enough for a date, but inexpensive enough to keep to yourself. If you need ice cream, it is sold next door. Liquor is across the street.

I've been a loyal customer of this taco place for a while now, and the food has always been great--until today. I was extremely disappointed to receive burned food, as seen in the attached photo. It was evident that the grill wasn't cleaned before my food was cooked, resulting in an inedible meal.This place used to be a gem, especially since it's within walking distance from my house. However, given the recent experience and the prices they charge, it's no longer worth it. I'm hoping they can address these issues and return to their former quality.

Hubby and I checked out this taco shop and ordered the medium birria, 3 special rolled tacos, chilaquiles verdes, and a smoked tuna taco. For drinks, I tried their horchata and he got the bottled sangria.The food is ready pretty quick! We added birria to the chilaquiles, so it was pretty tasty! He loved his tuna taco and my rolled tacos were very filling. Definitely worth a stop if you want quick and easy Mexican food.

Placed an online order for pickup. Tried this place with my parents when they had their fish taco special. Nothing was good about this taco. The "fish" taco was mainly all batter and burnt. I ended up throwing it all away.based of this experience I don't see myself coming back to try anything else considering there are other spots to go to.

Ok first of all when you come to the Taco Lounge you must do the following:1. Starve yourself because this food will fill you up and you'll need a lot of room. 2. Good food takes time to prepare, it's not fast food but it's fresh and prepared just for you. 3. Make sure you look at the specials , everyday is different and delicious. Ok now let's talk tacos , everything made fresh everyday, vegetables, salsas , rice, beans and the marinated meats. The green tomatillo and Serrano salsa was delicious , the red salsa was habanero and Gueyheo chile and was the bomb! We had the beer batteries fish tacos, veggies, crema and a heap of avocado, no shortage here. Simply well prepared and the combo of flavor explosion in your mouth brings it all home. Adovada tacos well marinated and the veggies, onions, cilantro, and avocado heaped on. The taco bursting at the seam and packed full of meat. Again if your into having the best taco in town this is it !!! Pollo Asada , again we'll marinated , onions, cilantro, avocado , another home run ! I was so full I couldn't eat anymore. The beans mashed and fresh, creamy and well prepared, Spanish rice fluffy and tasty. You should try placing both salsas on your tacos , it really blends well with your choice of meats and this synergy makes all of these tacos masterpieces! Ok the secret is out, the owners original location opened in 2017 , this location has been here since April 22, there's plenty of free parking and this place is at the end of the retail row kinda hidden. There's a real nice sit down interior and great outside seating for those summer nights . To sum it up the owner born and raised in Tijuana brings his recipes to Chula Vista and has brought all of those authentic flavors with him. Oh for desert order the piping hot Churros! Delicious! Taco Lounge is our favorite local taco shop! They serve high quality ingredients each and every time! The staff is kind, consistent & super efficient. My favorite is the grilled shrimp taco. They use fresh avocados & the best chipotle sauce! My daughter's favorite is the carne asada tacos (& occasionally carne asada fries). We also love the Birria taco (pictured) & consommé. We dine-in often and do take-out as well. Both dining options are great. Taco Lounge is clean & inviting. The staff sets you up with all of the necessary condiments. A fairly new taco shop in otay ranch. We ordered the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, medium carne asada fries and churros. Food was good. Family friendly environment. Everything prepared fresh. Portions are small for the price. We ordered 3 shrimp tacos yet we got shrimp balls fried in batter with tons of cabbage and little chipotle sauce. It did say bartered shrimp. But this isn't what we wanted at all. Clean, well organized shop with indoor and outdoor seating available. Prompt, friendly service. My review is more a 3.5 not a 3. A little pricey

Even though they ran out of churros when I wanted another. (They told me after they charged me for it smh) The shrimp taco was so freaking good as well as the others.

Fish tacos are terrible, all batter no fish and over fried. Asada and Al Pastor was just ok. Not worth the price at all.

Hmmmm! Good fish tacos! Quick service Clean cozy place to eat & a short drive from our house.
