Taco Loco Mexican Grill

Solid 5. Delicious food with good value. Small restaurant with tables and chairs. Order at the counter. This is the newest location. The smaller space they had was down a few steps and had very little counter space to eat. This place is really quite nice and the food is very enjoyable.I ordered the chicken nacho. It was shared between two people and was plenty full. You can ask for different items to be added, or not added at the counter and watches they make it. I prefer no rice on mine. It was fill in generous. My friend ordered the tacos and I've had tacos here before and they're very good as well.It's casual good food with plenty of parking at meters outside. The folks that work here primarily speak Spanish, but they are easy to communicate with and know what you want. Very accommodating about putting together your order.Lots of takeout orders coming and going today.

Quick, no frills taco/mexican grill. We got takeout from this location and the food came out fresh and tasty. The pupusas are excellent and the taco comobos and good too. Service was great. Chicken tacos were a little dry but since everything else was good 4 stars. Overall, check out this mexican grill if you're in the area!

My adult daughter lives close to this restaurant and eats here with her roommates quite often and they love it. On a recent visit, I decided to try it out and I have to say that she is absolutely correct! The food was amazing! The setup is like a Chipotle restaurant, but the options are much more authentic and varied. Friendly service and delicious food... highly recommend.

As a long-time Somerville resident, I love this place!! You know it's great when whenever you go in, it is consistently busy. The location was originally a hole in the wall but has been relocated next door to a larger space with more seating. The staff is efficient and does a fantastic job managing the volume. They are always pleasant. When u first walk up to the counter, you are able to see some of the food displayed inside, and everything I tried has been absolutely delicious. The portions are a satisfying size with reasonable prices to match. I always go with the chicken tacos with everything on them and a veggie quesadilla. The veggie quesadilla comes with chips and salsa on the side. It is always consistent and tasty! If you have not tried it, I highly recommend stopping in or getting takeout!

The food is tasty and the service is fast and simple so you don't have to know what to order it's displayed where your selection is available for purchase and a tasty meal

The food is good I really can't lie.. but the people working here are horrible. Horrible miserable humans that can't smile to save their lives. A homeless man asked me to buy him food, and I did. He walked in and from the moment he ordered until the end they treated him so poorly. It was disgusting how they behaved towards him. I LOVE the food but I won't go back because those women were pure evil towards him. I can't stand for that and I don't care what the food tastes like, if you're a crap human being I can't keep going there.

Nice place. Good ambiance.Good lot of choices and options.I got the chicken burrito and steak.The chicken was a bit too dry.Steak was amazing.The rice in my opinion could be less hard. But overall the burrito was super flavorful. Super moist. Each bite had this juicy mouthful. It was beautiful.The chips and salsa was delicious. Overall great. Will come back

I was visiting my son and his fiancée at their new place in the neighborhood. We're were excited to try out Taco Loco for the first time. We ordered a steak torta, chicken enchiladas, fish taco and chicken taco. Everything was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. Overall great experience.

A neighborhood favorite and a must go to for good quality food. I have loved everything I have eaten here and it is our go to when we have no time to cook. A must try!Tip: Call ahead for orders on busy nights

Hole in the wall type spot good vibes and staff friendly, went after work for a few tacos~ the chicken was good but the adobado pork was so hard it must have been made days ago probably went unsused and was absolutely terrible, like not finish the taco type bad (tough to do I know). Type of place the meats sit in the hot plate/heating tray probably for days and days, and lots of spiderwebs around the dining area in plain view. Prices are good! and good authentic variety, but judging from my first visit/the steamed vegetables with no seasoning on them looking like a middle school cafeteria lunch I will not be going back without good reason. Not sure I trust the sanitation and felt like I wasted my money/was ripped off even with paying just over 10$ for 3 tacos. thank you!
