Food is ALWAYS on point. This is my favorite taco shop. I love the tacos and rolled tacos here. They make a special order of soft rolled tacos for my Mom and she LOVES them. I also get a side of meat for my puppy. The service is fast and convenient. The ambiance is cool. It's easy access cause it's on a corner right across from 7/11. It's a well lit taco shop. So I feel safe.

I've been going here since I was a kid but all I really get is carne asada fries from here. It's my favorite place to get them because their fries are crispy and they put a good amount of meat. I wouldn't go out of my way to get food from here but it's worth a try if you're close. I like this location more than the Taco Fiesta in Mission Valley though because their food is made when you order. Other location seems like they premake some popular items during rushes.

Its meh here. There are better places to give your money to. The service was friendly enough. The main thing is that the food wasn't up to par, you could do better elsewhere. The Hot Cheeto Carne Asada Fries were lacking. Stale hot cheetos too.

Glad I ignored the ridiculous bad reviews. The food her is consistently delicious. My favorite California burrito. Their salsas are really good too.

I love coming to the University Ave. Taco Fiesta! Their prices are inexpensive, and their food serves me well after a long train ride to San Diego. Disclaimer: parking is limited. Outdoor accommodations are decent, but that shouldn't dissuade you. I rate them high based on the quality of the food. Go for the Carne Asada Fries! They are the bomb!

Very standard Mexican food. Nothing to write home about. Would give it a better rating had they gotten my order right. One order of potato rolled tacos and came home with beef rolled tacos. One chicken taco, no cheese and came home with a taco covered in cheese.

Very rude and shameless. My daughter 12 year old, went to order carna asada, he literally cussed her out. A 12 year old. Disgusting. We asked why he cussed at her, very ashamed couldn't even say anything back, with that attitude he must've done something to food . I am Disgusting never encountered such thing.

Solid taco shop and super cheap.2 carne asada tacos plus rice and beans for 8$ ! This is the only place in SD that cheap I think. Tacos were full of flavorful asada, pico de Gallo, and guacamole that's more like the thinner TJ guac for tacos. No skimping on the tacos, and tasted good. Red salsa had a little heat but good flavor. Didn't try the green salsa since my other taco disappeared too fast. It smelled good though.Rice had good flavor. Beans were a little thin and had cooled off after a few minutes, but still good flavor. I am a beans snob and I like them thick and creamy, so take it for what it's worth I eat a lot, so I was still kinda hungry afterwards, but this is a solid meal for most normal appetites. When I'm back down in this neighborhood again, I hope.to.leave a review for the burrito or 2 beef taco combo. Deuces.
