Nachos were cold and cheese was not melted. This was after having them heat them for an extra time.

This was my first time at Taco Del Mar, and it was as I expected, A-OK. This Taco Del Mar location is in central Bellevue, one of the various businesses in the strip across from where Uwajimaya is. I imagine this place gets business from those working around the area. I received a coupon in the mail for Taco Del Mar, which I figured I should use since I had never been before, but had seen it the many times when around its neighboring businesses. The coupon was for a buy one get one free meal, which was great for two people. We ordered the nachos with carnitas and the fish tacos, which came in two. In order to use the coupon, you must order ahead of time online, which is what I did. It was easy to use, but the only minor issue is that it wouldn't accept my Amex. I asked about this when I picked up my order and the employee said that they do accept Amex, so it must be an issue with the website. K. The estimated time of pick-up was 10 minutes, and it was ready by the time I arrived in exactly 10 minutes. By the time I got home, we dug into the food, and it was lukewarm. Man, it cools down fast! With that said, the biggest disappointment were the nachos since the chips had basically gone soft from all the toppings covering it and then a lid placed over for the to-go order. But, I don't know if there's ever a time where nachos takeout is good because of this very reason, right? If had eaten during dine-in, I imagine the nachos being better. Fish tacos weren't bad though. The fish was flaky and a good portion in the corn tortillas, which I prefer over flour ones. I would order the fish tacos again. Not a bad place for some casual Mexican takeout with a southern California vibe to it. I really think that my experience here would be better if I could eat the food right after it's made, like in dine-in, as the food would be fresh and hot.

Ordered online and came in on the time it told me to. The lady at the front told had no idea about my order when I came to pick it up. She said there was so rice because they were closing. I ordered at 6:15ish and they close at 7. If they were on top of their online orders maybe I wouldn't have walked out with my food at 7:10 and she wouldn't have had to make the rice late and leave her shift late. I got my food almost AN HOUR after ordering at a "fast food" place. Also received no utensils... really...

Overcharged me $20, and only gave me a $5 dollar off card for next time I came in. I was in a rush so didn't have time to fix it.

The restaurant hung up the phone when I called. I did NOT get the order I paid for, I ordered a taco salad and got a burrito instead. And the burrito was cold and a bit soggy. The order was also late. I used to get better orders from Taco Del Mar, and I may not order from them again.

The lobster tacos were okay. Nothing too special. I was under the impression that they would be served warm but they were very old. I should have asked before hand..better yet they should have told me first.

WARNING: even if you order the regular burrito, it will still be "wet". You'll see what I mean.Having just eaten Taco Del Mar, I am now older and wiser. This morning's Willie, young and foolish, thought nothing of simply ordering a burrito from Taco Del Mar. I sat down, naively keeping my jacket on. I started unwrapping the burrito, took a bite, and immediately a thousand liquids begin gushing out from every corner of the burrito and onto my hands and jacket sleeves.WOW this thing was wet. Or maybe "moist" is more accurate. You could clearly tell it was struggling to contain itself. I suspect it is due to how they keep the meat stewing, rather than letting it dry out. Because of that, the pork in the burrito was extremely tender and juicy. The first big bite of pork I took was literally eye opening. It felt like my taste buds had just gotten out of bed, and canon bombed into the flavor hot springs. All my electrons were firing.I made my way down the burrito, peeling the foil away and piling it on the table, leaving a trail of carnage and destruction in my wake. It is a race against time, trying to finish it before the tortilla disintegrates under the unrelenting pressure of the contents within. Eventually, I make it to the most challenging part of the burrito: the end. If I didn't already look foolish, these last few bites would truly test me. Adopting a 3-finger pincer grip with each of my hands, I struggle to vaguely form it into a ball that I can somehow stuff into my mouth in one bite. This what it must have felt like when Naruto was trying to learn rasengan, but I had the help of some shreds of tortilla at least. Barbarically consuming the last bites of the burrito, I wipe my mouth with my last remaining napkin, victorious. Barely able to stand, I get 5 more napkins to clean up the table. Lessons learned: grab 3x as many napkins as you think you'll need, take your jacket off, roll up your sleeves, it's about to get messy.

I love this restaurant chain, but THIS location is crap. I've been to Taco Del Mar's in several different states, and several different locations in this area -- no matter where you go, it all tastes the same (and delicious IMO). Unless of course, you go to this location. Nasty. Also, they charge more than other locations and don't give you an itemized receipt... they overcharged me and had I not questioned why my total was so high, would've had no way of knowing. If it's your first time going to Taco Del Mar, don't go here -- I promise other locations do WAY WAY WAY better!
