Great good! Their surf and turf fries are my favorite! Plus it's close to where I live.

I cannot believe this this is like the third time I tried giving them a third time chance because we live across the street, but this is ridiculous. The owner really needs to speak with the cook. We ordered two tacos, which were fine. We ordered 2 Birria quesadillas and I'll let the picture express the way I feel you can see it yourself. They need to get rid of the cook and get a new one. why should I drive all the way back to get a refund and do all the footwork when they need to clean up and get a new cook this isn't right I will call my bank and get my money back.! don't let the pictures on the menu for you. It does not look like what you pay for it's not even a joke this is not right

Stumbled upon Taco Bomb and I'm so glad we did! The menu was almost overwhelming as there were so many delicious options I wanted to try. We ended up getting a few different things to try and were impressed by everything we tried. The food is a little greasy, but this came as no surprise since we opted to get fast food. The food was ready quickly and although we got it to go, the quantity was substantial and more than worth the cost!

Well this was a great surprise. I've passed by Taco Bomb probably a hundred times--it was close to my kids school and to the best mechanic in San Diego, Vinh Phat. But I had never bothered to go in. Well this morning I had to wait about an hour or so on a Saturday morning after having dropped off my car, and I was looking for some breakfast and WiFi.Well it was really very good. While of course nobody's chilaquiles compare to my wife's, theirs were really very good and quite beautifully presented. Don't let the tiny salsas throw you--they are powerful. And the staff was friendly and helpful. I got a good meal and an hour of work done while waiting for my car. Very nice!

I'm pretty sure my husband would faint if he saw me rating this place two stars. But then, he does know that I'm not a fan of their food, whereas he's become a bit obsessed by their offerings. It's gotten to the point where he'll get something for himself on those nights when I have no appetite or am held up at work. Our first time here, we dined in. After some deliberation, I ordered the 5 Bomb Rolled Tacos ($10.99). My husband ordered the Bomb Burrito ($11.59) and we decided to share a fountain drink.Their dining room is split around the register and kitchen; we found a table on the larger side to huddle at. That side seems to be a converted patio, and they've completed the feel by furnishing it with plastic patio tables and chairs. The Bomb Rolled Tacos looked impressive on the menu: rolled tacos topped with steak, adobada, guacamole, lettuce and cheese, but that's unfortunately where my fascination with this meal ended. The meat toppings were dry and bland. The rolled tacos themselves were crunchy at the ends but a soggy, icky mess where the filling was concerned. I was only able to finish one and half of the rolled tacos before pushing the plate away.My husband clearly chose better, as he couldn't stop raving about how good the bomb burrito was. For those wondering, the burrito had the same meats as the rolled taco toppings, plus beans, fries and what they call their "secret bomb sauce." I think it was the sauce that held everything together, because that's all I heard about for the next 20 minutes or so. Needless to say, his experience was vastly different from mine. He did try one of the rolled tacos after he polished off the burrito, but agreed it wasn't that great. After much cajoling, I gave in to giving them another try. This time, I went with the shrimp burrito ($10.29). It was hefty, I'll give them that. But other than heft and heat - the physical kind, not the spice kind - it didn't have much going for it. I really wanted to like this place and this burrito, but the rice was crunchy, the shrimp were bland and their ranchera sauce was uninspired. That's the last time I tried their food, but I'm giving them two stars for the fact that my husband is a fan and keeps going back. They're certainly no Lolita's, not even a Roberto's. I'll continue to pass on their food.

Well it's a tough call considering what I ordered wasn't really Mexican. And it wasn't very good. The young lady at the counter was nice and professional, and food was ready in a timely manner. Just think next time I'm In there maybe I'll stick to the traditional dishes?? The "Nuclear Fries?" were disappointing. Fries tasted like they were microwaved?? And not sure what that chicken they topped it with was? Plenty of sauce and the portions were good, but it just didn't do it for me. Maybe I'll try some tacos next time. Mamma had the Birria Ramen, she said it was good. So we will give them another try.

We've been here a couple of times. They have the basic taco shop items plus some unique items. It is all delicious! The Surf and Turf Taco is a must try. My son got the Bomb Fries and loved them. Service is very friendly and quick. There are some tables inside and outside. There are just a few parking spots.

Taco Bomb showed up as a newly opened Mexican joint that wasn't far from one of the gyms I frequent. I never tried its predecessor (Super Bronco) at this spot, but the location seemed fairly busy with customers. There was a small dedicated parking lot to the side of the building which was convenient. A few inside tables were available for on-site dining along with a couple more outside the front entrance.Three menu screens hung high behind the service counter. The lady staffing the cashier was trying to juggle taking an order over the phone and serving the next customer in line. You could tell she was struggling and needed help from another staffer or to place the call on hold because it was slowing down the process. I picked three tacos for my order... Bomb, Adobada, Surf N Turf. Each was slightly larger than street size and cost more than $4.50 apiece. The Bomb was a combination of grilled angus steak, adobada, beans, guacamole, cilantro, and onion. The Adobada contained marinated pork, guacamole, and salsa fresca. The Surf N Turf had grilled angus steak, grilled shrimp, cheese, guacamole, and secret sauce. The best part of each one was the fresh, soft corn tortilla. The not so good was that the chopped meats were overcooked and dry even with the help of the guacamole and/or sauce. The potential is there for this place to deliver good products. The service time and execution were the areas of needed improvement during my visit. For now, I rated Taco Bomb with three stars.
