Came for the French toast, left wanting more. Ordered French toast with sausage and eggs. Although it looks great visually and in the pictures the food lacked quite a bit in flavor and the place lacked in ambiance. It is a decent place for breakfast but doesn't really stand out in any particular way. There was nothing bad about it but also nothing outstanding. The only word that comes to mind after this experience is ordinary.

TL;DR - This classic American breakfast eatery ditches the brunch frills for fast and friendly service, portion sizes that will ensure you have something to take home, and a vast array of classic breakfast offering including amazing GF waffles. My first trip to T.C. Eggington's was one to remember. This is a classic American breakfast establishment serving up all the classics with fast and friendly service. We arrived just before 11am on a Sunday and in the time I was holding the door open for a few exiting patrons my wife had already been seated by the time I got inside. We had drinks on the table no more than 3 minutes later and despite a decent sized food order it was on the table no more than 15min later at most. We walked out of there full and happy by 11:35 in and out in just over a half hour total. We got their gluten free classic waffle and their GF red velvet waffle. Both were delicious but the red velvet really scratched and itch for me. Their omelette offerings were vast including a BYO and their selection of cheeses was unmatched. All in all I was incredibly please with our experience and would highly recommend giving T.C. Eggington's a try, especially if you are GF and looking for a delicious waffle. The portions weren't skimpy and I can promise you won't leave hungry.

Family oriented brunch spot in Mesa. Brought my brother for brunch and this place has really large portion sizes. We asked for suggestions but were given the generic everything is good. My French toast was very filling, thick with cinnamon inside. The red velvet pancakes had a cream cheese frosting that was to die for. Great place to bring your kids as we saw several large families for families.

I've been wanting to try this place for some time, but there is always a wait on the weekends. I went on a Thursday, and even though we didn't have to wait, the restaurant was still pretty full. I ordered some pancakes and my boyfriend ordered a 2 egg breakfast. The pancakes are huge and delicious. Our server was amazing. He checked on us often. I'm glad I finally was able to try this place.

My friends and I went to T.C. Eggington's this weekend and it was fantastic!!! Chris was our server and he was beyond amazing - attentive, knowledgeable, and speedy. And the food was so wonderful! I had the Crack O Dawn skillet and it was everything I dreamed of and wish I could have it for breakfast every day. We were able to get extra spice (or not) for our bloody Mary's and that was great for our group bc some of us can't handle the heat and others seek it out.Thank you, Chris!!

I have been coming here since I was little. It has always been a lovely experience and the food has always been consistent. I came here today with my family for the first time since I believe ownership/management has changed twice. We were a party of 8. We decided last night that all of our schedules aligned to allow us a family breakfast today -- hence why we did not make a reservation ahead of time. We tried calling early this morning at 7 to see if we could make a reservation, we were told they do not take same day reservations. Someone else called asking if we could be put on a wait list, we were advised not unless we were there in person. We arrived in person and were quoted a 45 minute wait. It's a Sunday morning at 9:45, I get it. What I don't get is asking my sister when she was checking in, "Why didn't you make a reservation?" Well it wasn't for lack of trying! We waited just under an hour, and honestly, I could understand if the waiting area was packed -- we got passed up by every single table that arrived after us. People were leaving that arrived after us before we even got seated. You cannot tell me that in that time frame no 2 tables next to each other were empty at the same time. I think a plan was made of where our table would sit and there would be no adjustments to said plan -- we were told we had to wait for the previous table to leave and then it would be ours. WHAT?! I felt like I was doing a walk of shame walking to our table, it felt like the entire restaurant walked in while we were standing there waiting. After finally sitting down and seeing a handful of open tables -- I was sad to see that they no longer do the water pitchers on the table, because at this point I am parched and hangry. The menu is completely different -- much smaller than before. The server was great, he got all of our orders correct. The food was inconsistent. The crack o' dawn is mine and my family's go to -- my ham was so charred, it was almost inedible. Mine was the only one like that. Needless to say, I miss the nostalgia of the OLD Eggington's. I don't think I'm in a hurry to go back. Word of advice -- maybe have a water station outside for your waiting guests.

Designed as a country cottage interior, TC Eggington's is a nice breakfast and brunch spot. Clean with country style furniture, menu is part traditional part original. Staff wears golf-type outfits which I am not certain how it blends with country cottage interior, but it does create a unique identity. Food wise it was mostly good. Kalamata and vegetable omelette was a wonderful surprise. Smoothie of spinach apple yogurt and banana was good although it could have been blended a bit better. My friend had burrito and stayed it was bit too dry. Staff and service were good. One thing I observed it was difficult to get recommendation from the server. Something I often do. All in all despite the criticism - it is a well above average restaurant!!!

First off I failed to make a reservation, but to my defense I didn't see any way to do so on their website, in Yelp or Google. In fact it appeared as if they do not take reservations. So, I waited until this morning after church to contact the restaurant. Upon talking with the host he said they have been fully booked for two weeks. Me: Ok, can we come in and wait? Host: Yes you can. Me: what would the wait be? Host: about 40 minutes (we had a party of 5). We got there and checked in at 10:35 and they said it would be about 25 minutes. Great! We were seated in 20, all good! We couldn't have asked for a better situation. Had our orders in by 11:00. Grilled cheese, chipotle burrito, two ultimate BLT's and a Santa Fe Sauté. The Santa Fe being mine was delicious, perfectly seasoned and the over easy eggs were some of the best I've ever had! Through discussion with my family I found out all of their meals were excellent as well! The people were all on point, very nice individuals that perform their jobs exceptionally well. We will return to try out a few more items on the menu as it is quite extensive. Price was very good as well, 5 meals and great service, no pretentious attitudes all for $85 + tip! thank you TC for living up to all the reviews I had read about you!

Hands-down, the best breakfast place in Arizona! Was in the area so we decided to stop by and grab some breakfast. The staff was super friendly and the inside was very well-kept. Our server went over the menu being that it was our first time. I appreciated that the server let us know how big the French toast was and gave us the option to choose how many slices we wanted. We ordered a Bloody Mary, Bacon, Home Fries, French Toast, and a Omelette with all of the meats. The bacon was very crispy and the home fries were seasoned to perfection. The french toast was like a cinnamon roll bread dipped in custard. It was far the best french toast I've ever had. Not to mention, the butter was the perfect addition. The omelette was piping hot, well, seasoned and full of meat and vegetables. We definitely recommend giving this place a try, and we'd be back for sure!

I've been going to Eggington's for years and my daughters love it too. It's a very clean cozy spot. Their food is delicious, I got the vegetable frittata with potatoes. Service is sweet . On weekends there's always a crowd waiting for doors to open so they bring out coffee etc for everyone. Love it always!!!
