Lunch specials start at $9.99 and include a lot of food. Wife had Orange Chicken which was real fillets deep fried w a light orange sauce not premade dough filled, good. Egg roll was a Lge crunchy one along w soup and side of rice. I ordered the Chow Fun noodles w pork entree $13.95. Pretty good, found it lacking sauce but it was a huge portion and full of stir fry pork. We both were full and only ate half our meals. Leftovers for another day. Most likely will return when in the area. Excellent friendly service and spotless clean.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken Egg drop soup was pretty good. Crab puff was also. Egg roll might have had too much ginger to my liking. Some chicken pieces were good but some were extremely mushy inside. I started breaking open all the pieces and a musty smell came from it. Like old pineapple. The mushy pieces tastes like fermented pineapple and old chicken. A little bitter. Bathroom was clean. Won't be back.

T & J Asian Cuisine is an American-Chinese restaurant located in Peoria not too far from West Gate. They offer the majority of your American-Chinese favorites and a few other dishes like lemongrass scallops, duck, Korean Steak, and Vietnamese beef.We started out by sharing the Asian Pot Stickers (really they are dumplings) They were stuffed with mostly chicken, a few scallions, and a little onion. They were tasty but ever so slightly oily.It was ASTONISHING IMPRESSIVE on how well they prepared the sizzling sea bass. It would be impossible to prepare fish more perfect. It was like dining at a far more expensive restaurant. Even my husband who is not big on fish couldn't believe how well it was prepared. On this dish they didn't make the Szechwan sauce spicy as the menu shows a hot pepper for spicy but it did have some flavor and vegetables. It also wasn't sweet like a lot of places do. It was a big portion so some people might get two meals out of it.My husband went for the sizzling pork. The pork wasn't crispy but was tender and they made the Szechwan Sauce slightly spicy for this dish.Service was perfect and very efficient. The restaurant is clean and displays a grade A health inspection. I'd recommend giving this restaurant a try!

We order takeout. Called in our order. We were given a wait time of only 15-20 minutes for dinner! Food was ready when promised. Some items did leak. That included leaking through the cardboard box they put everything in. Vegetables were all fresh. All were cooked leaving a bit of a snap to them. That can be hit or miss with fast Asian food. Was happy to find this hit. Also happy to see such a healthy amount of vegetables. Lemon chicken was a hit with the kids. Chicken was prepared like sweet and sour chicken, but instead came with a lemon sauce. Mu shu beef itself was enjoyable. The "crepes" that came with the mu shu beef were straight up tortillas. (Either that or very thick and floury.) My youngest thought eating Asian food with a tortilla was awesome. Lemongrass chicken had a very healthy feel. Though it was on the salty side. Lo mein was one of stars of the night. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Vegetables were also plentiful. For quick takeout, T & J is a solid choice.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Place wasn't to busy. It was a calm pleasant atmosphere. We placed our orders and they came quickly. The menu is pretty varied in the usual fare. They have lunch specials til 3pm daily. They also have combo specials available anytime as well as A la carte. Lunch and combo specials include egg drop soup, an egg roll, a crab puff rice and the entree. In our case we ordered the char siu (bbq pork slices) appetizer. It wasn't as strongly flavored as others I've had. It was flavorful and tender, served with a cucumber salad. For entrees we had sweet and sour chicken and the lemon chickenThe lemon chicken was a bit on the sweet side. Not quite as citrusy contrasting taste as others I've had. Still it was pleasant and not over the top sweet. My lunch partner liked her sweet and sour chicken. All in all it was a pleasant meal served warm and fast

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. We began taking our dogs to a new groomer in the shopping center there and that is how we found it. The place is very clean including the bathroom! He had a beef lunch special and I ordered pot stickers and chicken fried rice. First of all, the service was amazing! Everyone was very attentive. The egg drop soup and crispy wontons were really good. The pot stickers were good. There were 6 to an order, the dipping sauce good! The lunch came with the soup, crab puff, egg roll (which my husband said was full of ingredients and not mushy) rice and entree. A lot of food for $10. The chicken fried rice was very tasty, some of the chicken was a little chewy but still tasty. It was a large order and most of it came home with us. We were both impressed with the restaurant and staff and will be visiting again.

I just came home from T & J Asian cuisine. I ordered Kung Pau Chicken combo dinner. Needless to say it was not good. The Egg Drop Soup had very little flavor. It was thin, not much better than hot water. Kung Pau Chicken should be a spicey dish. This dish had none of the small Asian peppers. I have never had Kung Pau Chicken with noodles in it. This dish had looked like 50 % Spaghetti noodles, probably to create more bulk and cut back on the amount of Kung Pau Chicken served with the dish.
