Tried again and they had beef! Strange to be excited about that. Service for lunch very quick and relatively kind. It isn't the quality of food I remember from years ago but decent enough. Sort of small portion with lazy fried rice and hot and sour soup pretty good. It served the purpose and I got back to work quickly. I'd eat there again if I didn't go to my regular place for noodles in the mall next door.

First time dining in. Portion is very generous, price is reasonable, most dishes are delicious. The menu is extensive, so it may take you a while to decide on what to order. We ordered:+Orange chicken (4.5/5 stars) - got this for the little one, and he loved it. We loved it too. Chicken breast were sliced thin and deep fried, then covered in a sweet and orangey sauce. There are actually pieces of mandarin peel mixed in with the chicken!+Picked Fish and Lamb (3.5/5 stars) - the dish came in a huge pot. There big pieces of fish fillet, not too many pieces of lamb, pickled green, snap peas, mushroom, all in a spicy (white pepper) soup.+Spicy Tofu with Beef (4/5) - I love the combo of soft tofu with meat. The portion is generous, and it's spicy and flavorful. -Eggplant in Spicy Garlic Sauce (3/5) - Again, huge portion for the price. However, it's overly sweet for my lighting. The soy sauce version may be better.

I had zero complaints about my food. My experience wasn't extravagant, but it was worth every penny and tasted so delicious. Yes it's in an odd location with misleading labeling on the front, but let the food and price do all the talking. The service won't let you down. And there is plenty of parking. Personally I enjoyed the menu selection finding it plentiful, but not over whelming. They organize it by the main source of proteins. Made it easy for me to find a fish based dish with flavors I was craving. The inside was clean and had an appropriate theme, but it was visually a bit out dated. It's a smaller to mid sized venue. Booths on the left and right sides, normal dining tables in the center, registers and kitchen in the back. Nothing to complain about. My highlight was the actual food. They actually took time to make it look more than presentable. I enjoyed the way they added the seasoning and topping. Allowed me to visually see how fresh the ingredients were before mixing it all in. Yes the ingredients all looked and tasted fresh. And the spice. It was the Szechuan spice and tingle I was looking for. There are many places that have prices like this but very few Szechuan spots at this price serve food this darn good and with level of quality and love. Their Szechuan boiled fish was darn near perfect in my opinion. Also, yes these guys eat their own food. And the food they ate made me wanna order more food since it looked and smelled so darn good.

It was a little confusing from the outside as the signage was in Chinese only. We stopped by before a middle school play performance and we really were not prepared for the portions. We had egg rolls, mu shu pork, cucumbers in spicy sauce and shrimp in black bean sauce. The shrimps were large, flavorful and just perfectly cooked. There was just so much food! The staff also came by and checked on us on multiple occasions during our meal. I think this place hits the sweet spot for taste and value. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is one of our ToGo Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is always fresh and authentic, we have few favorites that we always order when we stop by, the Hunan Beef, garlic crispy pork spareribs and now the boiled fish in Szechuan sauce. The service is always nice and friendly, parking is not easy especially at night and weekends. It is a great family restaurant, small place, be ready to wait for a table but it's worth it!

Tried Szechuan First as were hungry and wanted quick dinner. As we were trying for the first time, went with no expectations and it turned out to be so good. Service and food came out real quick and for hungry souls like we were, good was hot and so tasty. Ordered Scallion pancake, Vegetable Fried Rice and Coriander Lamb. I haven't eaten a Scallion pancake which was as thin and crispy as this one, it was amazing! Fried rice was ok,went well with Lamb. Coriander Lamb is one another dish you wouldn't want to miss here. Coming back again to dig into other dishes.

I can see why so many ppl like this place. It's solid Americanized Chinese food, which I love. Nice thick and chewy chow mein. But the meal was too greasy and salty to make it a favorite spot for me.

unbelievably good. I've been looking for a local Szechuan place for a while and finally tried out this place. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was great, even the time to bring the food to the table was lightning fast. I will 10/10 be returning to this place again and again.

We are staying in Seattle for a few days and wanted to find a good Chinese restaurant which is something the area where we live is lacking. We tried Szechuan First and we loved it! First of all I can't eat garlic or onions and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I always appreciate any restaurant that will work around my issues. The restaurant is small and in a small and tucked-away shopping center. It does a very good business inside and take out. Anyway, back to the food... It was delicious! We got an order of potstickers (10 per order which is alot but well, we ate them all), I got egg drop soup (I didn't see just one bowl of wonton soup which is usually what I order) and I got pork fried rice. My husband got hot & sour soup, his go-to-soup at Chinese restaurants. He said it was delicious! And his order of pork with bean curd was the best he has had. Ever. The potstickers, my soup and fried rice were very, very tasty. And I am craving those potstickers one more time before we fly home...
