The food court that this place is in is one of the dirtiest in all of Chinatown. Possibly the worst ambiance, between the smoke that envelopes the entire basement food court to the tables that are literally never cleaned and you have to clean yourself with just paper towels. Don't get me started on the bathrooms...That being said, the food is actually pretty good, easily a 4/5. I just wish this place were in a nicer environment.

This place was really good! I took a friend from out of town here because he said Boston doesn't have a ton of szechuan options and he loved it. I liked that their pickled cabbage with fish filet wasn't super sour for my tasting. The string beans and eggplant were nicely stir fried. The spiciness of the ox tendon and maw in the chili sauce was the perfect spicy level for me. My bf who can't really eat spicy also thought it was good. I thought the prices were fairly reasonable given the potions. I think we spent like roughly $20-25 per person and we were really full. I can't wait to be back to try other dishes.

Went again and tried their House Special Brains & Tofu and it was really good!! It's a unique dish that I don't think I've seen anywhere else; the brains texture was interesting-- really soft and melts in your mouth. The flavors of Szechuan spice and chili oil were strong. The owners who work here are very sweet too.

Okay so I think the owners of jmc szechuan moved here to this little counter in the basement food court of Chinatown. Like this is a Chicago hidden gem, the real ones know!! A classic underground Chinese food court!! Like okay Flushing!!!! It takes awhile for the food to come out and my econ friend says they should "raise prices" so until they do that, and tbh even after they do that, I'll still be coming here!!! It's like, a tiny counter and then out come these HUGE steaming SPICY portions of some of the best Sichuan in Chinatown I mean COME ON!!! The noodles in the green peppercorn beef dish are as HUGE AND WIDE as the tears in my heart and the fish in the boiled spicy fish filet soup are literally SO soft and endless. The mapo tofu is LOADED with ground pork, everything is so spicy and so salty and I welcome it. DAMN. check it out!!

Thanks to the Yelper that mentioned JMC Szechuan is now at Szechuan Bistro. My husband and I have been craving this chef's creations for months, and after so much anticipation we were not disappointed. Best Dan Dan noodles in the city! We also enjoyed the chicken plate and pork with peas and eggplant. Just the right amount of heat to clear my sinuses. Only miss was the scallion pancakes.

The chicken with sichaun pepper was so good, wanted to come back for a second time immediately. Not much service, it's a kiosk order inside of a food court so you can imagine the interior.

This place is hard to find but worth it. It's in the basement of the building and there is no signage outside, so just go in the 2002 door and head downstairs--there you will find a food court with great options. It's very casual (food court in a basement) but the food was outstanding. We had the Dan Dan noodles, fish filet with sour pickles, and wontons in chili oil. All were excellent, fresh, good sized portions. It would be nice if it had better ambiance but the food is so good, you can (and should) overlook the surroundings.

You also order at a kiosk here. If you need to use a bathroom key they will ask for your id. The tofu stew was quite large and spicy and the pork belly was very flavorful. They gave us two bowls of rice so this was plenty for 4 people to share.

really good sichuan food (I would almost want to say they also have very authentic hunan dishes!) very spicy and tasty. The non-spicy dishes are pretty good too, great dumplings and potstickers.

I love this place which is located in the food court basement of the "Heungseng Square," building next to Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings. The Szechuan food is delicious and authentic. I love trying their Chef's Specials which are too numerous to mention here. One of my favorite Chef Specials is the Spicy Pork Intestines & Chicken (with potatoes). Their entree sizes are large enough to share for two adults. Service was excellent. It is next to Elitea's stall which is my favorite boba tea spot in Chinatown and less expensive than competitors. The food court has dining tables so you can eat inside.
