Cute, cozy shop and tasty ice cream! What more could you want? We didn't have the kids with us, so we were spared requests for candy in addition to ice cream, but if you have any anti-ice cream people in your group, there are plenty of fun candies to choose from! The ice cream is made fresh from AZ dairy. It has an extremely desirable & unique flavor to it. A lot of ice creams shop leave us feeling underwhelmed.. this one was everything we hoped it would be and more!

Visiting from California and we're looking for a good family owned ice cream shop to try. The ice cream had an interesting consistency and texture. It's not your usual ice cream and leaves your mouth feeling waxy. There were chunks of something that felt like butter that left my mouth filling really greasy. There aren't many flavors to choose from, and the customer service was not very friendly.

Friendly service and delicious treats! We had a slice of cheesecake and 2 scoops of ice cream- fireworks and kitchen sink, both new flavors and very tasty. Super cute shop and mom, dad, and child here all agree & recommend

Went to this shop thinking they have coffee but they didn't so since I was there I decided to try their butter pecan and Carmel ice cream and it was delicious!The shop is super cute and if you are into candy, pies and ice cream then this place is a must try. The manager on duty was very friendly and a joy to speak with.

The coconut cream pie ice cream is out of this world! So are the rest of the flavors. Ol skool candy shop has pretty much all the nostalgic brands you would expect. Just wish they had cinnamon JellyBellys! But the HotTamales will suffice. There's a sign on the window that reads: Monday Family Ice Cream Day and $12/4 scoops.

Ended up heading here after having dinner next door at Grassroots Kitchen & Tap. Bright and cheer location with lots of nostalgic candy inside. Service was quick even with a line of people. I got the fresh mint chocolate chip and you could tell they used actual mint and not an artificial sweetener. It had lots of chocolate in it as well. Great end to a great meal.

Grabbed ice cream here after dinner at grassroots kitchen and yeh ice cream was a delicious way to end the night. I went with a scoop of the kitchen sink flavor. They say that this has pieces of all of their baked goods mixed into the ice cream. I didn't know what to expect but I enjoyed the different flavors and textures of the pieces of baked good. I also tasted the natural mint chip flavor and that one was really refreshing.

Really cute spot with tons of options. My wife had finger-licking-good key-lime pie, my kids had different assortments of ice cream, and I had a few bites of coconut cream pie ice cream before it was shamelessly ripped from my hands by one of my little bambinos (all good!). Staff was super friendly -- two young kids with warm smiles and hearty recommendations. Great local spot.

Pro tip: Get a double scoop for the best value. They have cookies for a $1 (down from $3) after 9pm but they run out fast! They offer samples. Highlights: The ice cream is super delicious here and I think it's just the right texture. The triple shot espresso is my favorite. Aside from the ice cream, they also have lots of other treats that look great and candy throwbacks as well. Lowlights: They don't have a ton of ice cream flavors - just ten or so and they are rather basic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, etc. The price for a single scoop is a bit high so I'd recommend getting a double scoop and sharing with a friend!

Yummy ice cream. Service is lovely, store is bright as clean, with outdoor sitting. Will be back.
