A Chicago classic that serves old school desserts! You won't be finding any super trendy desserts or croissants here. Just delicious cupcakes, cookies, and pies. I love their cupcakes so much and it is one of the few places in the city that you can grab a whole cake without reserving one in advance.My favorite is the chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing!The service is always very friendly and it is a super cute shop with almost old school vibes!

Love love love this place. I cannot recommend it enough. I had a last minute cake order I needed fulfilled and after reaching out to multiple bakeries no one could help with the short notice. It was a Monday and I needed the cake Friday. Just a small 6in 3 tier. The employee that took my order was SO kind. The cake itself was very affordable. I needed the cake as my wedding cake, my now husband and I eloped and I wanted something special for us. When I picked it up the vibes were so good, and the place was busy in a good way. The cake itself was actually some of the best cake I ever had. We got vanilla confetti with vanilla buttercream frostings. Long story short, this is now my go to bakery and I will recommend it heavily to anyone in need of desserts. I'm so grateful to the kind staff.

TL; DR: Just visit and see for yourself! This is my favorite place for a sweet treat in ALL of Chicago! This place is full of cupcakes, cookies, bars, breads, cakes, pudding, and more! My favorites are the iced sugar cookie (love the frosting on top), snickerdoodle cake, and cinnamon rolls (weekends only). You cannot go wrong at all though. They also do a great job on custom cakes making them look amazing (see picture for example). They are just the BEST, so please just visit them to see all the goodness they bring!

I ordered a customized cake for my friends birthday and picked it up yesterday and I couldn't be happier with the turnout of the cake! I have never ordered. Customized cake before but who I worked with was so thorough about the decorations and details and they made it so easy! The cake is also absolutely delicious! I recommend sweet Mandy bs to everyone and the cake made my friends day that much better!

First time trying Sweet Mandy B's and was not disappointed! The iced sugar cookies are going to be my new guilty pleasure. Phone did NOT eat first this time lol. We placed an order online and picked it up, it was ready super fast (less than 20 minutes). They even had an Olympic themed sign in the window to celebrate!

Vibes are so cute, service is nice and quick! This is just what I needed. I got a chocolate chip cookie and my husband got the peanut butter rice crispy. I will say I was surprised by the near $6 price tag. But I feel the cookie was very fair priced but super thin and chewy not much of a crispiness but the flavor is good not too sweet. A lot in there is covered by frosting which was a bit too heavy for me. I will say I was annoyed by the 34 cent handling fee. It's a bakery so I feel like handling is just part of it. I've never seen another bakery make customers pay a handling fee but oh well

Wow. What an absolutely perfect find. We were celebrating a friend's birthday next door and popped in for an impromptu birthday cake. Staff was incredibly amenable, adaptable, and gracious. Everyone in the group says best cake they've had in, maybe ever. Cake was moist and frosting was just the right amount of sweet. Definitely will shop again and recommend. 10/10.

At first would go here for the doozie and the turtle brownie. Loved the lemon cake because the buttercream and how moist the cake is but disliked the chocolate and some other variants where it seemed to lack consistency / cake wasn't actually moist But lately the cakes have been absolutely spectacular, super moist and very very good - chocolate, strawberry were awesome as of late and lemon continues to be stellar Susie cakes might finally have a challenger as long as sweet Mandy bs can keep the consistency up
