Sweet Land Cake

Just got back from a trip to PR. Sad to say it took me so long to check this place out- I heard they used to see some seasonings! I got a Cuban sandwich and an "alcapurria". They were both so delicious!! I will try them out when I need a cake or pastries next time!

Stopped in here for some sweets and coffee real quick. Absolutely delicious patties and I plan on stopping back for a custom cake one day.

I had a sample box of 5 different pastries. They were all fresh and wonderful. The tres leche cake was one of the best I've ever had.

What are you people smoking ?!!! You people that review this like 4 or 5 star. I have realized you can't trust Arizonians with knowing anything about food from other states or countries. I married a Puerto Rican . I grew up in New York around all Caribbean's, and this ain't it!!! Terribly fried empanadas. The papa rellena is bland and taste terrible. The meat is not well seasoned. I admire those who start businesses, but HEY OWNERS!!! You should be ashamed to call yourself Puerto Ricans !!! Please call your business anything but that. We are def telling all our Caribbean friends that visit not to come here. What a waste of time and money!! The Mexican staff was nice though, very kind, it's not their fault. Three tier cake it was amazing but a few years ago. It was a spider man cake for my nephew that turned 5. The cakes was a big hit at the party. They also have a great sandwich here as well. Would recommend. They were really nice and kind, patient with me and my super hero cake wants and needs back then.

Great little place, Cubanos are delicious people are friendly. Not the quickest place but definitely worth the wait.

Small family owned Puerto Rican bakery with lots of really good baked goods. We couldn't decide so we got a little bit of everything to take home. The flan was delicious, so creamy and flavorful with no eggy taste like some tend to have. It's pretty amazing! Also had the bread pudding slice & it was a amazing! They makes custom cakes, and have coffee's. They sell a few other items in the little store check them out!

The shop has a festive, fun atmosphere, with large models of cakes decorating the interior and a ceiling with sprinkles colored onto it. There are an offering of different sandwiches and pastries, all of which promise future visits to make sure I can try them all. The service was prompt and friendly, and the welcoming smiles from behind the counter warmed the shop immediately. The staff were incredibly friendly and pleasant, and my food was ready quickly. On what will be my first if many visits I ordered a Cubano sandwich and cannoli, both of which were terrific. The melted cheese on the sandwich united and amplified the savory meats, which were toasted to perfection. The cannoli bread was flaky with a subtle sweetness and the custard was rich and creamy.

Friendly staff and great Cuban sandwiches. The sweets looked delicious. Bought some sofrito to cook with.
