Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe

If you're looking to get a good birthday cake, look no further. I was specifically looking for a mango cake, and I called around to a bunch of different Asian bakeries, and this one was the cheapest. They don't miss on quality though. The cake was moist and spongy, with plenty of mango inside and on top. An 8-inch fed almost 15 people since we cut it into thin slices. I'll definitely be getting my cakes here from now on!

I let my sister convince us to grab food from here to being back to the hotel to snack on. We got 1 of each tart, some pork floss buns, coconut buns, a taro swirl cake and some other not so notable goods.The tarts are the real stars here. Seriously everything else was forgettable, basic and meh. There was a caramel, chocolate, ube, matcha and basic cheesecake tart. I didn't like that all of them came with this random "caramelized" marshmallow atop. It was nice to look at but didn't go well eith any of the tarts. (And it was hardly caramelized.) If you remove that it's really good. Each tart is like a 3 biter so it was nice to try them all my sisters. The chocolate was the best in my opinion. Sweet, hearty and real decadent.

So much varieties, similar to a 85C Taiwanese bakery chain if you know what I am talking about. Bread is ok, maybe they are better in afternoon or when they are fresh. Cakes are rolls are definitely better, they are in the fridge so quality last longer. I don't know how to describe it but their bakery is ok. Everything is individually wrap. They do have hot drinks so winter time that's a plus. I didn't see anybody order any food. They sure have a lot of customers tho.

I love all bakeries like Sweet Hut where you can walk in and be welcomed by a large selection of freshly baked buns, savory and sweet! This location goes above and beyond in terms of hygiene; I was impressed by the request to wear a plastic glove prior to placing your buns on a tray lined with a new piece of paper (some would say this is overkill, but i didn't mind). The store itself is kind of dark and dingy... but again, don't mind. I would say the buns we bought did not blow us away but were pretty tasty and we would return for them. We also ordered Vietnamese coffee, and I would certainly come back for this! (The parking lot right now is a disaster, so exercise caution!)

We have been to this Sweet Hut location many times and have found it reliably enjoyable! Nothing mind blowing but there are a lot of options, sweet and savory. Some classics that we like to get are the Portuguese egg tart, Japanese cheesecake, and vanilla strawberry Swiss roll. This time, we were on a taro kick and liked violet (basically a bun with taro-flavored mochi inside) and the taro butterfly. In the past, we've gotten boba from here and it was decent. Usually bustling on the weekends, but there are many tables to sit at. Lots of free parking available upfront. Ambiance is fine, service is fast. 7/10 would recommend!

Quick service and lots of options! Love their salt and pepper chicken. Comes out fresh and delicious! Opted in for extra spicy and it kicks hard!Plenty of seating options and nice atmosphere too.

I have been coming to Sweet hit for many many years. It's great because they have a wide variety of not only sweet pastry options, but also savory. Personally, I am partial to their savory items over their sweet. The main sweet one I usually get is their chocolate bun. Outside of that I usually get the, curry chicken bun, bread with onion and hotdog, or one of the other nice savory buns. It's super tasty, and everyone usually could find something that they like. Also, if you're a fan of Boba tea, they have quite a few options as well as other specialty drinks you can get. Definitely recommend coming here. If you haven't been before I'm sure you'll find something that you'll enjoy!

Always a treat when I get to patronize Sweet Hut. Service is always above the standard while the lights and simple decor make every thing look insanely delicious. This time around I tried the Pistachio Croissant and Thai Tea which was magical. The pistachio taste was spot on and did not taste artificial while the pistachio cream was so smooth and creamy. The croissant was soft inside with the perfect flake. Do yourself a favor and warm these babies up for about 15 secs. Their Thai tea is the best I've ever had. The flavor, the sweetness....chefs kiss.

An Asian pastry lovers dream come true! Every pastry looks beautiful but more importantly they are delicious! I tried the thai chili bun which is a fun mix of spicy and sweet. The red bean mochi bun is delightful. I also tried the bbq pork which had deliciously flaky crust. I took home a coconut bun to try later. We also got milk tea which was yummy and I love that the toppings are included in the price. Clean space and not too crowded for a Saturday morning. Would be a nice place to pick up some pretty treats to bring as a host gift or a birthday. Will be back.
