I will start by saying that the owner was always quick to respond and she was willing to answer any questions I had. I live in CA but my sister and her family live is AZ, I was searching on yelp for a bakery who specifically made Vintage heart cakes, for my niece's 16th birthday. I found Amber's business through a quick yelp search and was able to quickly see that she creates beautiful desserts including the Vintage heart cake that I wanted to order. I immediately reached out and she let me know she can definitely make this happen, we messaged back and forth for a few days until I locked in my order on 09/07/2023 at 9:15am. I understand that this was short notice because I did need the cake for 09/11/2023 but she guaranteed it would be available and I sent the payment for $125.00. The morning of my sister was able to go to amber's place of residence to pick up the cake, Amber asked my sister if she was happy with the cake and of course my sister said yes because it was a gift from me to her daughter. My sister sent me pictures of the cake and I was not happy with what it looked like. Amber does have a strict policy which I completely understand (I signed the contract). I reached out to Amber and sent her pictures of the cake to show her that it was damaged without any error on our part (cake was picked up). She proceeded to let me know that she became ill on Thursday 09/07/2023 (when I ordered the cake) and she was unable to make/decorate the cake so she had her "assistant who is still learning" make it. She offered a partial refund of $25 and a discount on a future order or my sister could bring back the cake to her place of residence and I could receive a "full refund" minus the 50% retainer. I opted for the $25 refund because my sister lives 30 minutes away and was having a dinner party for my niece. I understood the terms of the contract but was upset that I didn't have an option prior to receiving the cake. If she would have sent me a message prior I would have definitely understood. A part of me feels she took advantage knowing I was in CA and the person picking up the cake was near her. My sister ending up taking the cake to Fry's so they can write "Virgo szn"on top of the cake and fix the frosting on the side of the cake.I will be attaching pictures of the cake+the inspo I sent+screenshots of our conversation.

NAILED IT!!!!! I asked for cake pops for a new launch for my company. These pops were the talk of the week! They were delicious and a spot-on representation of the product!! I am extremely impressed!!

This was back in March 2023. This review is long overdue but I needed to post this for Amber Ricks. She is amazing! Amber was able to make the dream cake of my 4 year old come true with a picture that we found in other places. We are originally from Florida and flew in Surprise to have our daughters birthday party with our Arizona Family. So for coordinating my parents and Amber took care of this for my daughter. My parents told me that Amber will do whatever she can to make this cake and provide the best flavors, but needed to be seen for taste testing. The communication between Amber and my family was great. My family showed up for the taste testing and flavors were being presented. Unfortunately I didn't take any picks of the inside of the cake nor the 5 flavors of cupcakes that we had for the party. The top tier was all for the birthday girl and was a chocolate cake with hazelnut filling (tasted like Ferrero Rocher) and the bottom tier was red velvet cake with a whip cream filling. The cake was so light and flavorful with every bite! If you ever need a cake done in the area of Phoenix/Surprise/Glendale/Buckeye, please reach out to Amber! Definitely recommend this establishment.

Super yummy cake pops and cakes! Sometimes when the cake looks all fancy and gorgeous it tastes gross, like fondant and food coloring. Not here! Yummy cakes that look amazing too! Great communication as well.

Delicious cakes but the creativity and beauty of her pastry concoctions are why I keep coming back, braving crowded social situations at pop-up events to buy these sweet treats.

Sweet Fusion did an incredible job on my son's rice feeding ceremony cake! There was so much intricate detail in the little bowls that they were able to capture with such precision and beauty! Everyone talked about how delicious the cake was and people were surprised it was a real cake because of how perfect it looked! We can't thank you enough!

Omg so good. Her macarons are too die for and super sweet family! Her kiddos greeted me when I came to pick up and Amber was so nice. I called her cause I was craving them so so bad and she was willing to exclude a couple chocolate hazelnut she was making at the time to cave into my cravings. The cake batter was amazing usually cake batter tends to be so sweet but hers are the perfect amount of sweetness and the sprinkles aren't too much and the consistency are perfect. As for the chocolate hazelnut, oh man. The nutty flavor and the chocolate work so well together and usually when you eat anything chocolate hazelnut the chocolate is overbearing but her macarons are the perfect mix of the two. I would honestly go for 20 more
