Sweet Bakery Mexico Lindo

We've been going to this bakery for years! Even when they were at their old location in Chula Vista, at Broadway and H. Everything I've ever had was outstanding. But my most favoritist, yummiest, bestest thing is their coconut bread. It's yeasty, soft, not too sweat, and oh so coconutty, It's the best! Did I mention it was coconutty? Try Mexico Lindo Bakery. You'll be happy you did.

Stopped by here midday on a weekday. It's a small bakery and the ready made cakes/baked goods looked delicious and so well decorated. My kids got m&m cookies, a classic homemade taste. I ended up getting tamales. We got 3 different kinds beef, chicken, and cheese... all of it was so good. Fresh, Moist, and rich/flavorful filling portioned just right.The lady behind the counter was so sweet. Prices are expected and comparable to like bakeries.

My favorite bakery in Chula Vista. They used to be Chinese/Mexican bakery and across the street from Chula Vista mall but moved to where they are now. Same great taste and cheap prices. I love their desserts! Always my go to for sweets or birthday cakes. Service is always quick and friendly. There are no seats inside and they have everything on display if you need a last minute cake. I will be a lifelong customer.

ALWAYS good for the SWEETS here!!!!My GO-TO is the coconut bread.. pretty much the ONLY way I eat coconut and enjoy it!!! Always friendly faces, they ask u if there's "anything else", but not pushy.. even tho they SHOULD be since most stuff is perishable quickly! They have the most awesome 3 display cases with the goodies too, which more than makes up for it being a small and quaint spot!

Was happy they were able to meet my last minute cake needs. They offer a variety of pre-made special occasion cakes and fulfill minor customization and personalization requests.The tres leches with whipped topping and strawberries was very good.Service was friendly and prompt. Great selection of pan dulce, pastries and other baked treats.

Food here always top quality and taste! Love their signature cookies and the cakes have been family favorites for years first at their old location on H and now the last couple years on Broadway by E in Chula Vista. Must try: coconut pan de leche bread- when fresh and warm( or rewarded at home)- so delicious!

I have been going to Mexico lindo for a while now back when they were on H st but I lost them and I didn't realize they had a new location on E st now I have never ordered a cake from them and it kinda made me nervous because it was for my sons birthday. The cake was a big hit the kids loved it and the parents were saying how delicious it was thank you for making my sons cake!

Yum! Sweet Bakery Mexico Lindo sells tamales.My husband & I happen to walk by the bakery to look at the tasty desserts. We ended up buying a Sinaloa beef tamale to sample. It was so tasty, moist and full of flavor. This will definitely be my go to place for tamales! The small bakery was clean with colorfully displayed desserts and the service was excellent!

I was looking for the best tres leches in San Diego, and Mexico Lindo kept coming up. I read the reviews, and though there were some negative comments, the positive outweighed the bad, so I gave it a shot. This was literally the BEST tres leches I think I have ever had! The cake was perfectly dense, but not overly heavy. The whipped cream was the perfect level of sweetness, in fact, the entire cake had the perfect level of sweetness. It was deliciously moist with the milk, and had a slight hint of cinnamon. Omg it was perfect. I'm so glad I didn't let the bad reviews prevent me from trying this bakery. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.
