Good tri tip sandwiches and salads. I especially like the bbq tri-tip sandwich They also have baked items like cookies and muffins, that they bake in house. Order those when they come out fresh.The tri-tip is very tender and flavorful which they make into a square sandwich. They use a very nice bread (don't know the type of bread). Then they wrap it tight so is easy to walk and eat if you want.

Tri Tip Tiperia/Sweet & Savory Gourmet is located in a part of town I've never been to. It was cool seeing all the old houses. Hope it stays that way unlike where I live surrounded by towers of steel and concrete.Guy behind the window was nice and speedy whipping out my sandwich in about 5 minutes.Tri tip was tender and had a delicious flavor. Lettuce and tomato was fresh and juicy. Bread was fresh. Very good tasting sandwich.Chocolate chip cookie was fresh and full of chocolate flavor.

Really, Really good sandwiches. I had the Fuego and my wife had the OG. We both thought our sandwich was the better one. Chocolate chip cookie was really good and even though I was already full at half the sandwich I ate the other half + a little of my wife's OG and the cookie. Tri-Tip was ridiculously tender and loaded with flavor. Customer service was great. Something about owners/employees that smile and enjoy their work that makes the customer feel good about doing business with them.

I was picking my son up from school and thinking about what to make for dinner and noticed this place. I grabbed 2 Tri-tip sandwiches for me and my husband. They were so good! Tender and delicious:) and came with a chocolate chip cookie which was pretty much perfect. My son had the Mac and cheese. He's pretty picky so I wasn't sure if he'd eat it. He loved it! We'll definitely make this place one of our regular spots. Can't wait to try more.

After dropping off some alterations, I saw this window with a small menu for tri-tip sammies. Decided to give it a shot since I was getting hungry anyway. For $9 I got an incredible sandwich with the juiciest, softest meatsies. Super simple, super yum, and I was surprised to find a delightfully chewy cookie wrapped next to it. 10/10 for value, 10/10 for speed, 10/10 for taste. I will be back with all my friends... socially distanced, of course.

For fans of hidden, hole- in- the- wall type joints, this is for you.It doesn't look like much and you can't even sit down.Heck you can hardly stand at the counter, there is so little room!The guy who made my sandwich was like a few days new, so I was concerned that my sandwich might not be so great, but it was! :)He filled it up, just like the pictures on YELP show. He was courteous and the ingredients were great. I had the Turkey Brie sandwich... the bread was delicious, crusty and savory at the same time... the turkey was plump and juicy, the brie was plenteous and the cranberry mayo was flavorful... BUT they should add some straight up cranberry to oomph up the cranberry flavor.All in all, I'd like to go back and try another flavor sandwich. I liked it well enough :)TIP: It's not easy to find, it feels like you are driving to nowhere, in the middle of a neighborhood.

This establishment is at such an odd location.. It's pretty much in a very low key plaza in the middle of a neighborhood somewhere is Clairemont. I work about a block away and was in search of something healthy to eat for lunch and stumbled upon this place on yelp. I checked out the menu and everything just sounded delicious.I called in and placed an order for the portobello sandwich and a tri tip sandwich. When I came to pick it up- the owner said he actually was out of portobello.. In my mind I was like 'noooooo!!!', but it wasn't it a big deal lol. Instead he actually made a special vege sandwich for me and it was quite fancy- roasted bell peppers, quinoa spread, cucumbers, etc.. It was good! And he felt so bad about the portobello situation that the vege sandwich was on the house. So nice! Anyway- I saved the tri tip sandwich for later in the evening during my class and it was damn good. Good cut of meat, great fresh ingredients.. Love it. I'll definitely become a weekly regular here. Great place!

I was told by a friend to check this place out because I had no idea they were here and I've stopped in this mall only a handful of times. Thick, hand carved turkey, not deli thin sliced, along with fresh greens, juicy tomatoes, smoky Gouda cheese, and crisp bacon, served on a fresh ciabatta roll spread with their guacamole mayonnaise. Where do I even begin with how wonderful this place is. For starters I've eaten here almost every day for 2 1/2 years. As crazy as it sounds the food is constantly changing and super good, Mike and the Guys sure know how to make some of the best dang food I've ever eaten. From "Heat & Eat Meals" like Jambalaya, Beef Stroganoff, Étouffée, & Shrimp Creole, to their made to order Menu items such as their 4 Tri Tip Sandwiches BBQ, Fuego, Zues, & OG. 2 of those have unique and homemade mayos, such as chipotle lime Mayo, Roasted Garlic Lemon Mayo, the other two offer you a house made BBQ sauce and a Tzatziki sauce. Literally every sandwich is to die for and they all come with a freshly baked cookie. For their smoked Tri Tip, they also offer it in Salads & Mac & Cheese bowls. Be careful though their food is like crack, You just can't get enough!

We are having food delivered during Covid. Mike is a master chef. Each meal is expertly prepared, vegetables cooked perfectly. Each meal is an explosion in your mouth of possibly the best we have ever eaten. Prepared with care and so so so delicious. And David, their amazing delivery person, could not be nicer.
