Love their ice cream! My husband and I went first tried their location in Cap Hill and saw this one! This location is great because you can sample one flavor. Service was friendly and patient while we made our choices. The inside is also a lot bigger and they have more options and things to choose from. We had the sweet cream and the Makgeolli flavor both very yummy!

In a word - Yummers! I have not come across such a wide variety of unusual flavors. But first the ambience. Charming, clean, with attention to detail. The staff are friendly and provide thorough information regarding flavor profiles. They do not offer samples, but will put several scoops into one cup. I tried black sesame (wow - so different!), Persian rose (a delicate perfume), and Sakura which was a tribute to the cherry blossom festival. The line moves quickly (even foe those of us WIP are indecisive) and pricing is fair. I'll be back!

I can't remember what flavors I ordered but the ice cream was very smooth! I really liked the texture of it and the unique flavors! There's not a lot of room in the store, but it's a super cute place. Definitely recommend this place if you're in Seattle!

We got two ice cream sandwiches and it was the ratio of cookie to ice cream that I'd change a bit. Adding a bit more ice cream and less thickness to the cookie would make it more of an ice cream sandwich. The workers were very nice and it's a cute spring atmosphere inside. Unfortunately they don't give samples- another reason it's 4 stars not 5...bc I would rather commit to a flavor that I know will be tasty. Everything is compostable there and they have divided areas to toss everything which is great. As for the ice cream sandwiches- one mint chip with chocolate chunk cookies and one sweet cream with monster cookies. The thickness of the chocolate chunk cookie smooshed the ice cream so it was oozing out all sides but the monster cookie didn't have the same thickness to force the sweet cream out everywhere. The mint ice cream was a bit too minty and not enough chip but the sweet cream was a nice flavor with the chosen cookies. Later my blood sugar spiked so I know it had a bunch of sugar inside. Might come back if I'm in the area.

We had great service and a kind server on a rainy Seattle day! Got 3 scoops and each of the flavors were great- Blueberry Lavender, Choco Chip Cookie, Salted Caramel Ice Cream! My favorite was the caramel. Only downside is there's only one bench to sit, which is difficult on a rainy day.

Visiting family in SEA and the kids of the group had a craving for Ice Cream. This spot was one stop away on the subway from where we were staying. It's located in the University District. I'm assuming because it's close to the University of Washington???...This area has A TON of small, diversified dining options. Whatever you're craving, a walk up or down these multiple blocks and you're sure to find something that satisfies your cravings. Sweet or Savory.I was full from eating beforehand. I just went along for the walk. Upon arrival however, I couldn't help ordering a cookie sandwich after seeing my niece's lol! They also had such fun flavors, I had to get something. I opted for Aztec Chocolate & Makgeolli. I thought the scoops were small at first, but it was just the right amount for the cookie sandwich and took my capacity of being full from dinner to feeling overstuffed.I almost could not finish it. Such a cute spot. Wish I could have tried more flavors!

I love sweet alchemy. LOVE. They have so many extra flavors that are available as pints that are must haves. I think my favorite is probably the fig honey crumble, I love that many of their flavors have hints of tea & herbs. We tend to get pints everytime! They also recycle back their pint glasses for $1 off if you bring it back. Pretty easy to complete a stamp card (one stamp per $5 purchase, and ten stamps gets you $5 off!) when you order by the pint. Would recommend ordering online if you can.

Came here to pick up a cake for my birthday. Apparently it was supposed to have writing and also candles. But when I came to pick it up they just handed it to me without any questions regarding candles or anything. The taste of the달고나 dalgona, is ok not really a fan, however the matcha was pretty good. The cake wasn't too sweet besides the frosting being powdery feeling and pasty. The black sesame soft cake bites were good. The strawberry layer was not ok. It's sometimes better to walk if you live near by as parking on the ave can be hard.

I LOVE this place, it's an amazing ice cream stop for the warmer months!The flavors are always so good, and I like how you can get multiple flavors in any size cup! I got the blueberry lavender and Persian rose flavors together to look like the UW colors :) it was very flavorful and you could taste all the florals and aromatics which can sometimes get overpowered by stronger flavors. The owner was super sweet, I ran into her later while she was doing a product photo shoot and she was so nice and told me about the flavors she was promoting which did not disappoint!Every time I've come here I've been impressed! I guess I'll have to keep tasting the new flavors every season!
