Swan's Korean Fried Chicken

I was craving some korean fried chicken while visiting the area and was pleasantly surprised to see this restaurant pop up. Both the food and service were top-notch.I got both the soy garlic and sweet&spicy chicken, as well as the rosé tteokbokki. Everything was great - chicken was perfectly crunchy and not oily like some other places. I appreciated that the boneless chicken was in smaller pieces and not dry. Rosé tteokbokki had good balance of flavor with a nice creaminess. It had a generous portion of fish cakes and sausages as well. Overall, I give all the items I tried a 5/5. Service was great as the staff was friendly and attentive. I saw a sign noting a pending liquor license, so hope to come back to have chicken & beer.

I love Korean fried chicken, so a place has to hit three main features with KFC for me. Crisp outer layer, check. Sauce with a bunch of flavor, check. Bite that is not oily but bursts in your mouth with flavor, check.They make the wings fresh, so give them a few minutes to have things ready. These aren't your toss em in and give an inferior product wings. Staff were very friendly.Super simple set up. Come in, sit down, eat, and go. Everything was bright and felt comfortable. My only suggestion would be a place to put dirty dishes. I like bussing my own stuff in a place that you pay up front, but that's a personal preference.All in all, compare it to a local Korean fried chicken place like K-POP wings and beer in bellingham, and I really don't think it's a competition. This place wins hands down. Cant wait to come again and makes me happy I work in skagit.

Really great KFC in Burlington, who would have thought. The service is friendly and welcoming and the food is great. The boneless chicken was flavorful and the bone in wings were also quite delicious. The cheese corn was particularly tasty.

A local gem! Large, juicy, flavorful wings that are crisssspy but not oily. How do they do it?I'm looking forward to coming back when I'm in the area!Our group of 6 ordered several dishes to share and all were great. Our favorites were:Bone-in original - this came with a side of honey mustard to dip, but the seasoning on the wings/breading is on-point and can hold its own.Bone-in sweet and spicy - not too spicy, just a subtle kick for balance.Bone-in soy garlic - sticky, sweet, garlic-y..I even dipped an original wing in the leftover sauce.Fried tteokbokki - slightly crispy, chewy, sweet, spicy..all the best things combined.Fries - These came in the soy garlic combo we ordered and they were McDonald's-esque but better?!?! Crispy but light and fluffy on the inside.Loved that these came with a side of pickled radish as well, a refreshing compliment to the wings.As I mentioned earlier, the wings aren't sad little flats/drumsticks like I've seen elsewhere; these are big and meaty. And the crunch...it was so crispy and surprisingly not greasy somehow.The servers were friendly, and the restaurant was pristine. They have a dedicated parking lot, and there's plenty of extra parking on the side street as well.So happy we tried Swan's KFC. Highly recommend!

Randomly stopped by so had low expectations but their chicken is . KFC done right. Ordered the 8 piece wings with half sweet and spicy and half plain. Comes with side slaw or radish. The batter was crispy, the insides was juicy, piping hot. The sweet and spicy sauce was slathered in a gochujang sauce that had the right amount of kick for me but might be spicier than most places. Definitely worth a visit. Gentleman behind the counter was also very helpful!

This new place has really good chicken! A number of different seasonings and a few sides. The only bummer is no steamed rice. We had fries and the pickled radish. Plenty of non-alcoholic drink options. And table service if you're dining in! The photos show boneless sweet and spicy with fries and a medium bone-in with sweet and spicy on half and "galbi" on the other half. The crust was light and crispy all the way until we boxed up the leftovers. I have no idea what is happening in the boxes right now, the boxes are waiting for us to open them. Besides the steamed rice, the only other thing I would like is some shake on seasonings for the radish. It was fairly one dimensional and could go many different ways with some sweet or savory seasonings. We'll be back! Update: They now offer rice as a side and are supposed to come out with a few new menu items soon. Had the soy/garlic wings today and they are delicious as well.

We live in Mukilteo and I will say this chicken was worth the drive. I came during their first day soft opening and the place was already full of customers excited to try out Swan's KFC! The staff were welcoming and the restaurant was clean. They are not a huge restaurant but it can still hold a large party and some small parties. They have plenty of parking which is excellent. We decided to order soy garlic, sweet and spicy, original wings and boneless galbi wings. The wings are fried to order and came out extremely fresh and juicy. My personal favorite was the original wings and my husband loved the soy garlic the most. You can't really fault ANY of the flavors though, they were all quite tasty and deep fried to perfection. The wings were surprisingly not greasy and we loved them so much we ordered a large batch to-go to enjoy at home again the next day Our to-go food experience was just as good. We got the cheddar cheese and original to go. Reheated up the chicken in our air fryer and it was just as juicy as it was the day before. Looking forward to coming here again after their official grand opening soon!

The fried chicken is totally worth all the hype. I wish they had some more banchan like kimchi or steamed bean sprouts. Adding some alcohol options would also help for eating in. Our server was great. Everything we got was amazing. Highly recommend the garlic honey wings and the tteokbokki.

This used to be my favorite place to go for teriyaki, and to be honest I was a little bit upset to see that it changed to Korean fried wings. I put off going here for a while because it was new and not the old teriyaki that I loved, I walked in and was immediately greeted by Justin who remembered me (it's been about 3 years since I've been in) Justin is always extremely friendly and delivers great service as well as everyone else that works there, I have never had bad service as long as I have been going to what was once Sunny Teriyaki and now continuing as Swans Korean fried chicken. The food that I got today was fantastic, I asked Justin how spicy the flaming wings were and he definitely wasn't lying when he said they might make me sweat, the flavor was fantastic and I am looking forward to trying other flavors on the menu. Still trying to figure out how they make their wings so crispy. If you were like me and reluctant to go because it's not sunny teriyaki anymore don't worry the food and service are still fantastic. And don't order too many wings, these are the biggest chicken wings I have ever seen in my life. 5 pieces was almost too much for me. Will definitely be back

We are so happy this place opened up! The food is delicious and the service is great! We ordered tteokbokki (original), wings (soy garlic & sweet&spicy), cheesy corn, and the bulgolgi bowl. All of it was amazing. The spice level was decent, the chicken was super crispy, everything in the bulgolgi bowl came together nicely. It reminds me of a mom&pop version of BonChon! This place is solid, and I hope it stays.
