Swami’s Café Downtown

Swami's downtown is nestled amongst office buildings making it a convenient spot with healthier options. The restaurant itself isn't huge and there is a small outdoor seating area, and with that said, I recommend coming for an early lunch especially if you have more than 4 people. They do not take reservations, only first come first serve. Each time I have been here for lunch, service has always been quick and the food has come out in 10 minutes or less (even with a large party). One of the things I particularly like is the large menu offering both breakfast and lunch options. They also have a great variety of flavored drip coffees that is self serve. All entrees are rather large and they have lasted me for 2 meals and prices are decent. This is a great lunch spot with a big variety of menu items, allowing you to enjoy your lunch hour with their quick and friendly service.

Great spot to eat downtown. Especially for brunch. I love their El Paso (Chorizo) BenedictTheir red velvet pancake is awesome too. The breakfast cocktails, especially the Bloody Mary and mimosa flights are good also

This menu had so much to offer from breakfast and lunch setting itself apart from places just for aesthetic. Prices are affordable and reasonable. We came on a Saturday during 4th of July weekend around 11am and waited 20 minutes so not bad at all!The chilaquiles, Ensenada omelette, and stuffed French toast (a little lemony) were SO tasty and fulfilling! Plates were huge! For drink, we ordered Mexican Mocha, get it iced! Something not really mentioned is the complimentary self service drink station to make a coffee, tea or grab a soft drink which is nice to grab yourself as it could be busy to wait for a drink you can make yourself. There were many milk (2%, almond, oat, etc), sugar, coffee concentrate options. Specialty drinks are on the menu which can be ordered.The group of workers from front to back end offered great and quick service for a nice breakfast. Will return!

My go to spot in Downtown San Diego for lunch; overwhelming menu but there is alot to choose from; whether you're dining in or taking out - service is above all exceptional. I go there twice in three days for lunch when I visit San Diego. I usually get their wraps or the corned beef hash. Always delish! Always looking forward to lunch here

We came here twice for brunch during our short stay in San Diego and that speaks for itself! This place gets bustling pretty quickly in the mornings but the service was pretty good regardless. We had the fresh juices both times (iron horse is a must try!) as well as the croissant breakfast sandwich. The açaí bowl is a huge, so bring an appetite or perhaps consider the half bowl size. Everything is so flavorful and fresh. There was extra mayo on the sandwich which I didn't mind but some may find a bit heavy. Overall, I'd definitely come back for atleast the fresh juices! Happy eating!

First and foremost - the service was great. It was good to be greated with a warm smile in the morning. Even though there was only one server- she kindly took carof everyone in an efficient manner. The whole vibe was old school breakfast diner. Food was on-point. Freshly made and flavorful. I had the chorizo Benedict over waffle. Serving size was worthy.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Baja fish burrito with grilled mahi mahi, pineapple upside-down pancakes, chipotle veggie burger, eggs and bacon. Kids cleaned their plates. Nice fruit for a side dish option. Service was fast and food was clearly super fresh. Cute little place. Will definitely be going back.

Food was delicious and very reasonably priced! Our server was very friendly and attentive as well, wish I had gotten her name.

La comida excelente y el servicio buenisimo, George el Mexicano mas pana, 100% recomendado, los omelette estaban deliciosos y los huevos benedictos ni se digan, la estación de café lo mejor, tienen café de varios países, nada malo que decir todo muy muy delicioso
