I am feeling under the weather, so for lunch today, I wanted some comforting soup. Often when I am sick, I stick to a classic chicken noodle or a simple chicken and rice soup. Sadly, my order was not packaged appropriately for delivery. Other than this, I can't speak on service (or ambiance since I ordered takeout). The moment I picked up my bag and took 3 steps inside my apartment, the whole bottom of the bag busted out due to broth that had leaked out of my container. Luck was partially on my side because despite the soup container not being sealed with plastic wrap, it didn't break open from the drop and spill all over my floor--just a little bit did. I salvaged whatever crispy wontons I could that hadn't either gotten contaminated on my floor or gotten soggy from the leaky broth, and ate them as my appetizer. My bag of crispy rice was partially doused but it was going into my broth anyway so that didn't matter. All in all, my meal tasted good. I am in the process of moving, hence the cleaned previous takeout container from another restaurant as a makeshift bowl for my soup. The soup was mildly flavorful, but that's what I wanted on this sick day. It was chock full of carrots, celery, water chestnuts, chicken, and shrimp. Despite this debacle, I would still love to give this place another chance by dining in next time.

My new Asian spot. Good food and good quality every time I ordered. I really like chicken and snow peas. Not too salty and not dry, yum.

I really like Suxian. I've been coming here for a few years now since I moved to the Atlanta area. I still don't have a favorite Chinese restaurant outside of my home Maui where I grew up, but this has been the closest to that. However, I was recently disappointed a few weeks ago with a takeout experience. I ordered for my family and I: Lemon pepper wings and fries, roast pork chow mein, Mu Shu Pork, which came with a side (I chose the house fried rice), and spring rolls. I ordered online through their website and came to pickup the order. At first, the girl who greeted me pleasantly could not find my order by name. She eventually did, so that wasn't a problem. It was a short wait and everything was packaged securely as usual which I appreciate. I had placed a late order, so by the time I got home they were closed. It wasn't until then I realized that they basically gave us roast pork and veggies over rice, not chow mein as ordered and paid for. We still ate everything, of course, as it was too late to do anything about it. All the food was excellent, so that was not the problem either. The next day was storming horrendously, so there was a flash flood warning, and we couldn't go anywhere. Tried calling the store, but no one would pick up throughout the day. We followed up the day after, my husband and I, explaining the situation and showing the picture and verifying with the receipt that we got the incorrect dish. My husband said that the worker he spoke to claimed that we had indeed received the correct dish, and that is how they serve it - without noodles. This would have been fine except for the fact that their menu actually says they do serve all the lo mein and chow mein dishes with noodles. I have also never had lo mein or chow mein dishes without the noodles. I feel that there may have been more to this, but at the end of the day it came off as just not wanting to admit error and trying to get over on a customer who might not know any better. I just don't see why they would say they don't serve noodles in a dish when their menu clearly states they do. That's also the main reason I ordered Chinese that night, because I was craving chow mein. Don't get me wrong, I still would order from here, and the food usually tastes great, but not getting what you paid for and false or misleading advertisement is never a good feeling. Not sure where I can get the chow mein I was expecting now, but I guess I'll have to keep looking. Just be aware in case you are expecting the same and don't get what you hoped for.

Called and ordered my food. Was told 20 minutes. I waited then I drove up to get my food. When I got there I paid for my food. But not knowing they gave my food to someone else. The lady at the front said she was the manager she asked me to wait for the person that took my food to bring it back. I said are you serious I am not gonna eat food that someone took out of the restaurant. She really was trying to convince me it would be ok. Now you know that's not good customer service. I've been a really good customer and feel so disappointed and disrespected that she would even try to convince me that the food would be ok. We've been through Covid and so much more so why do you think I would want that food. I'm so disappointed in this restaurant now. I had to wait for them to make the food all over again.

Portion size is good for the price but the food is way too sweet for our taste. We had the house lo mein and mongolian beef. Rice was not quite sufficient for the beef dish. (No rice for the noodle dish)Counter service only but they do bring your food to your table if you decide to eat there. Note: Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils only and very plain decor.

Spent over $30 for the General Tso's chicken w/Chicken fried rice and Honey Walnut Shrimp w/Chicken fried rice, and everything tasted old/low-quality. The walnuts in the shrimp were stale and again, everything was old and rubbery overall.Echoing the other reviews, yes the quantity is decent. But, bad basic food is bad basic food. Not great for a quality over quantity type of person. You could tell the ingredients were not fresh and truthfully, maybe one should not expect fresh food given the price point and location. The guy taking orders seemed nice, so I feel bad giving a poor review. The food is just so questionable that I had to let others know. The whole area in general has very few food options that are also safe. The windows all let outsiders know that, "No cash is left on the premises overnight." The restaurant is also near the Tamashaa lounge and the smoke shop.
