A real standout in the AYCE sushi space, after a while most of the places I found in the suburbs started to taste quite similar and have similar menus. That's why I was intrigued when i saw the menu here which offers a different selection from other local spots (fried oysters, scallop sushi, shrimp lollipops, mochi, etc.) at a slightly more premium price. Even if the quality was similar to other AYCE, at least I'd have a bit different selection to choose from.I had read from other reviews some things to watch out for, like preparation time which was a bit slower than similar restaurants, but the quality of the food preparation made it worth the wait. This was not sloppily assembled, and was in fact prepared both in an organized and visually attractive manner. The limited number of larger tables as another thing I was aware of, but there are some options to mix 4+2 together and a small side room. It may be worth making a reservation if you can as this place will definitely get busy. The food was definitely the star here. For only a few more dollars than other AYCE nearby, you really get some extra premium items that I mentioned above. In addition to those, items like Takoyaki, Softshell crab, baby octopus salad, and others will easily run you $5-$10 elsewhere, which makes this AYCE a fantastic deal to sample many items. The nigiri selection is very good here, similar to what you'd be able to order from a non-AYCE restaurant. The fish cuts are fairly thick without too much rice and the fish is fresh without unpleasant flavors. In particular, White tuna, sea bass, squid, octopus, Ikura, and scallop are some of the options you won't find at all AYCE and the quality was quite good here. Equally important, the rolls shined here and my party was very happy with what they got. The texture was good throughout every roll, shrimp tempura was quite crunchy, fish eggs were fresh (and they even provided some masago which is less common for an AYCE), vegetables were very fresh, and the fish had a good firm texture to it. Presentation was excellent, as if I'd ordered full rolls form a standard japanese restaurant -- full of color and carefully assembled. The flavor contrast was also very good -- in some restaurants many of the different rolls taste nearly identical but it was very easy to clearly identify every roll here, with some flavor combinations (wasabi mayo to name one) that I don't find as often. In line with the added care to presentation, they also plated the mochi dessert in the end nicely.Overall, excellent experience and this definitely will be in my restaurant rotation. The quality was consistent throughout all the items and is worth a special trip to dine here.

Solid AYCE Sushi!Lunch price is very reasonable at $22 and they offer a wide variety of rolls and nigiri. Most times the fish is fresh but some pieces get a little fishy. Recommend getting the eel nigiri as they put generous portions of eel. One gripe is that they add a bit too much rice to the nigiri.Service is generally fast and place is a bit small with only around 10 tables so there may be a wait if you go during a ho

My husband and I went to Sushi Tsuki with several friends for a Saturday night dinner. This restaurant is small and very busy but we were able to get a table because we made a reservation. The service here takes a long time so I recommend putting in your order quickly. We got the all you can eat sushi. All of their rolls were available for the AYCE. I could tell from the ngiri the time and attention that they paid to their food. It was very high quality. For an added bonus, the meal came with dessert. This is the first time I've seen this at an Asian restaurant. The food was amazing and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend Sushi Tsuki! This restaurant was FREEZING COLD. I strongly recommend bringing a jacket!!!

I found this place in the Yelp's top eats in the burbs. Lately, I've been pretty disappointed in the ayce sushi in the burbs, so my expectations were kind of low coming in. The menu was a lot different than the picture I saw one reviewer posted. For about $29 it's a good deal and the quality is very decent. I wouldn't say high quality since I also eat at omakase's and I know what high quality taste like. Seating has a good amount, if you have a party of 3 or more than seating can be limited. Service was fantastic. Drinks were never empty and our empty dishes were taken away. Most of the food was good. Some I didn't care for and were misses. Overall I would give and I would come back. -shrimp lollipop 5/5-harumaki 5/5 -spring roll with shrimp in it-Softshell crab 3/5-jalapeño bomb 5/5-fried oysters 5/5-Nigiri Tuna 3/5White tuna 5/5Salmon 5/5Red snapper 5/5 favoriteSea bass 5/5 favoriteSmoked salmon 5/5Eel 4/5Shrimp 5/5Mackerel 3/5Squid - too chewy Crab 4/5Scallop 5/5-Angel hair roll 5/5 - i liked the apple addition to it. This is a sushi spot that offers AYCE in a small strip mall with lots of easy parking. They do not take reservations online however you are able to call and make one instead. I was here for dinner with a group of 5 and we were seated right away. There are 2 separate rooms - one to the right when you first walk in as well as the main room if you keep walking straight as you enter the establishment. While I was here it was consistently busy with people dining in and picking up take out orders. The service was fairly quick with no long wait times. My group and I went with the AYCE option. TBH I'm not sure if it was worth it to get it for us since I'm not sure we ordered enough to get the most bang for our buck. Either way - the quality was standard for AYCE. There are plenty of options and something for everyone.

Yeah baby. I like sushi. Or at least the kind of sushi we get in the Chicago suburbs. I mainly like tuna and crab, real or fake, and a little shrimp. They do it well here. When they put spicy mayo, or tempura on top, unagi sauce. My favorites. Thy have one called Angel Hair Roll with apple shreds on it that is amazing. The jalepeno bombs are fantastic. The service was good. The decor is exactly what you expect. They were pretty speedy...And they have an all you can eat menu. A very good deal. That alone puts this place over the line for 5 stars. Don't miss it.
