Sushi Today

Even though Yelp may throw my review away because they don't like customer reviews and if you don't pay for ads they expunge reviews. this is my oppinion Just saying and ya know what I mean yelpers.We are grateful they opened so close to us in concord. Thier food is excellent and service very attentive and helpful. Never have we tried.Ny sushi here that we did not like. Right now our Fav is Red Dragon roll. Small local spot for sushi. Online order was ready on-time and correct. Sushi itself was good quality. Good spot for basic rolls and quick bite or takeout,

Hadn't been here in a few years and got the chance to stop by. Everything was just as great as it had been before! Service was quick and polite. I had the maki combo and got tuna maki and salmon maki, which came with miso soup. Food was great! Perfect stop for a late lunch on a chilly Boston day! Just as a heads up to anyone who is disabled, it is up a flight of stairs, so it's not the most easily accessible place. I was able to make it up with a little help, but I wanted to let other handicapped people know.

Was in the Boston area recently and ordered Sushi Today via DoorDash. The food arrived approximately 45 minutes after ordering. The sushi was nicely packed and the bag was secured by staples. It included a few pairs of wooden chopsticks and soy sauce packets. Unfortunately, no napkins though. Ordered their Spicy salmon maki, spicy tuna maki, and california maki "maki special" for about $15.50. This was a good value for three different maki's consisting of about 24 pieces. Also, ordered a HakoTuna signature maki which contained spicy tuna, tempura flakes, tuna, avocado, and spicy mayo. This was made without seaweed so it was more of a sushi sandwich. See my picture. It wasn't bad but I expected the tuna to be spicy. We also ordered another California maki. The crab was just sticks of fake crab meat. I personally prefer the California rolls made with chopped up imitation crab mixed with mayo. A Togo menu was also included in the bag.

I ordered through a delivery app and I loved the big sushi platter. I order sushi quite a bit and I'd say this was fairly on par with the other sushi places I've ordered from. I would get it again, but I think I'd prefer all you can eat sushi elsewhere compared to the platter.

For Boston - decent sushi and a tad on the smaller end for portions (or maybe we should have ordered more!). Quality was good but nothing mind-blowing - which is pretty normal for my experience in the cityWe got:- lemon tree (mango, shrimp, salmon, maki with avo wasabi sauce); this is a really nice roll if you want something light on the sauce!- spicy salmon hand roll (salmon, cucumber, spicy mayo, tempura flake) - I would get a roll instead of this next time- sashimi deluxe (12 pcs) - delishProbably would order again if I wanted something light for dinner but not my go-to if starving :)

I ordered an order for delivery from here on DoorDash. The food took about 45 mins to get to me so not bad. I ordered the sushi & sashimi combo, which came with a miso soup. The miso was pretty disappointing with no flavor in the broth at all. I ended up not drinking it. The combo came with 5 pieces of sushi, 5 sashimi and a tuna roll. Again, everything was just okay. Not the best quality but not bad for randomly ordering delivery! I liked that I wasn't overwhelmed with how much rice was used in the roll or sushi. Overall just fine. I didn't love that there was pretty little variety in the fish that I got. I also got the spicy seafood salad. Nice flavor, just a little spice and creamy. Portion size was small and would've expected it to come with a little lettuce or something under the seafood mix but overall - pretty good.

I was already probably not going to order from here again because the quality of the tuna in my order of tuna don was so poor (very "fishy" tasting and smelling; really no tuna taste came through), but then I found a hair in my rice. And you can tell it's not mine because it's visibly embedded in a clump of rice. I eat a LOT of sushi in the area and literally everywhere has been better than this. You pay for what you get

Late night cravings, more like late night disappointment. Would not recommend, poor quality, small portions, it took about 45 minutes via DoorDash.I ordered:Maki Combo One - the spicy tuna filling was very dry with tempura filling, the tuna didn't seem fresh and overall it was so dry. The salmon mediocre, and the California roll was standard. The miso soup tasted different compared to other places, it was a little odd. Seaweed salad - alright, your typical seaweed saladSpicy Kani Salad - it was good, crisp cucumbers. Very mayo-y. Shrimp tempura maki - do not recommend, the rice was overly smooshy
