This is my favorite restaurant in the Nashville & surrounding areas. It's in a strip mall in Hermitage and once you enter, the ambiance is great. The sushi is fresh and the Tom Kha soup in out of this world delicious. I'm addicted to everything about it. My favorite dish is the crab fried rice (add bean sprouts) ...it's so good and comforting. Don't skip the matcha crepe cake for dessert! The owner and the staff are amazing. The server, Tony, always takes great care of us.Go check this place out! You will be happy you did!

Sushi Thai is one of my favorite restaurants, it is such a hidden gem. Since it's fusion, the menu has a variety of different options including pad Thai, curry, sushi, stir fry and more! I take all my friends here and they have all liked it.

#fatjared say...good, not great. Had a bit too high of expectations, but not disappointed. For my grading I stay consistent and I stay disciplined. 5 stars on Yelp is perfect, so you must be perfect to get that. 1 star is as low as you can go, so I can't have anything good to say. 3 is right down the middle average. Sushi Thai was that. Average. Were there good things? Yea. The garlic sauce on the edamame was awesome, the spice level was what I would expect a 3 to be, and the sushi options were extensive. The place is clean, but menus are in rough shape, they changed pricing but didn't update menus, and the service was decent at best. Overall, I had a good time because I was with my wife, but would try another place before coming back.

My mom and I dined here on Valentines Day and it was so delicious! The restaurant is very small so seating is limited. Around 7pm they got a rush of guests (typical for Valentine's Day) but they only had 1 waitress working the restaurant and she took care of every table by herself. She did an amazing job! The sushi rolls were so, so good! The pricing is also incredibly fair. We had two glasses of wine, two house salads, and two huge sushi rolls for $60! We will definitely be returning.

Updating previous review--Still a great place all around. Have more of a desire for sushi/nigiri now and this place does such a great job. Salmon, hamachi, shrimp sushi are all great and the tamago (egg) is awesome. Pho is ok as is the ramen. The rotisserie duck is off the chain. Spring rolls are ok as are the steamed dumplings. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Stopped in after going paintballing and needing some serious calories replenished! This place was delicious and the service was great. The ambiance is on point and very tranquil and comfortable. We ordered garlic edamame, Dirty old man roll, Angry tuna roll, First love roll, Orange blossom roll, Triple Crown roll, and the Baked Alaska. They were all delicious!!

Finally! Some decent Sushi in the Nashville area. Throughout my many decades of loving sushi I have always made it a habit to sit at the bar and get to know the sushi chef. One of the major takeaways for me was learning that sushi and sashimi should be cut a certain way but never the same. The 5 sushi places we have eaten at in Nashville were either over priced with a limited menu, or they just didn't know how to cut sushi or sashimi. Sushi Thai knows what they are doing full stop. Both sushi and sashimi melted in the mouth. Delicious flavors and amazing knowledge of flavor combinations. They have a decent beer and sake selection. The staff were very friendly. The decor is typical to an Asian eatery and frankly not that important to me. Just about every GREAT sushi restaurant I have been to has been in a strip mall, so don't let this deter you from trying this place out. Caveat, It's limited in seating. But the food is outstanding for Nashville.

The restaurant is in a small strip mall. It looks like nothing but don't let that fool you. It is a hidden gem and as you see, it has really great reviews. I searched the reviews before we picked a spot and this one had the best and for a great reason!! We sat at the bar because the booths were taken and we didn't want to sit at the tables that were tight together. It was a small restaurant. The lady behind the bar took our order and the lady waiting on the tables got our drinks. It was an easy process. I got the walk away roll, small house salad, and gyoza as an appetizer. My favorite thing was the walk away roll. I usually don't like salmon in rolls but this was sooooooo good. The fried part wasn't too thick and had a sweet flavor on it. So good! All the flavors meshed so well. The gyoza was really good as well. Very light and flavorful. My least fav was the house salad. I felt like the ginger dressing was watered down and was very runny.The pricing was decent too. It wasn't too expensive. I thought it was just right. You have to try this spot if you are in town. The food was amazing!!

The Thai food here is great!! The staff was lovely !!! The place is clean and convenient to the interstate. They have a huge menu. I've never had their sushi but if it's half as good as the Thai it'll be awesome ! We got the red curry chicken and the green curry chicken and they were both excellent! I also got the Tom Kha Kha soup and that was soooo yummy ! I'll def go back ! Their lunch menu prices are awesome too !
