I came here for my birthday and had an excellent experience! The restaurant is beautifully designed and had a great vibe. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The staff were all very helpful and kind. My server also knew it was my birthday as I stated on my reservation and gave us 4 free mochis for my birthday which was very generous and personable of the restaurant. Overall a great vibe and experience. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. I got the spicy tuna roll and the 8 piece nigiri. The nigiri tasted very fresh and the rolls were great and also tasted fresh. We also got the edamame for an appetizer which was delicious although I wish it was slightly more seasoned. The rest of the table ordered the S&P chicken and the beef n bop. Those were both great as well, and were great choices for my friends who don't eat sushi. This restaurant also has good options for those who don't want sushi which is helpful when it comes to planning a dinner. The mochi was very good as well. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Best sushi in the city. I've visited the River North location many times but this new location is INCREDIBLE. If you come, you must order the eggplant, tuna aburi and beef bowl. 12/10- incredible.

Food was amazing. Service great. Ambience was modern and natural tones and low noise.

Came here for my birthday dinner with my best friend and had such a great time! Our server was awesome and the ambiance was so nice I actually prefer this location over the river north. the new menu items were such a hit too we loved the crispy rice that the server makes for you at the table the presentation was so cool! 10/10 will be back some of the best sushi in chicago IMO and very reasonably priced

I'm an avid Sushi San goer and this Lincoln Park location is by far my fav!! Seriously would only come to this one. It is much fancier with the menus, lighting, glass plates, beautiful sushi and regular bar, and unique bathroom (it's lovely). The spicy tuna crispy rice is amazing!! It's so addicting!! I get it every time. The spicy tuna roll is also very delicious with a nice kick of spice. The Vietnamese pork is very juicy with flavor!! Everyone is so nice and the service is very quick.

I would eat here every day if I could!! Ambience is so chill yet lively. Food is delicious. Service is incredible. Everyone is so so nice here. The spicy scallop and super San rolls are my favorite. I wish I could bathe in them they're so good!! Can't wait to go back soon.

Great addition to the Lincoln Park neighborhood on trendy Halsted street. I feel like all the new spots lately have been coming to River North and West Loop. I am already a fan of all the Lettuce Entertain You restaurants so this was on my list as soon as I saw it opened. The decor made it more upscale and the actual vibe is casual. Love the in between feel where you can make it what you want for your evening. On to the food, I would highly recommend the sashimi, apps, and the beef sizzling rice bowls. I would pass on the maki rolls as I was not impressed, and can get at any sushi restaurant and be comparable in taste. Definitely will be a spot to go for any last minute dinner spot decisions.

The food was excellent and service was exceptional. Great variety of food, cocktails, and mocktails. Loved the ambience which was both zen and lively at the same time. It is a great addition to the neighborhood. It was also really easy to bring our 1.5 year old toddler. It's hard for a restaurant to appeal to both kids and adults, but this one hits the mark. We had (in order of our favorites, but everything was a 4 or 5 star so above average)1. Wagyu crispy rice2. Japanese pancakes for dessert 3. Mega-tron box4. Kids bento box - nuggets (comes with fruit, edamame, and mochi dessert)5. Hamachi ponzu6. Avocado roll Drinks were inventive and colorful. One of them comes in a Chinese takeout box which was very creative! Mocktails were The Last Gift and Don't Look Down. Cocktails were My Neck, My Bok and Thank You, Enjoy #4. Will be back very soon. Was a hit for everyone in the family. They really take care of you here.

Yuzu Marg, crispy tuna rice, super San, zuke salmon nigiri, sticky miso caramel cake wow wow wow!! Everything fresh, fast and SOOOOO delicious! I sat at the bar by myself and had the best service ever! So attentive and so kind and they helped me pick some amazing items!!! The space itself is gorgeous and open air on a good day! Solo date, celebration, date date this place would be great for anything !!! Having trying and loving the super San roll, I would come back and get the D Luxe Nigiri as it would be worth. Not sure I'd share, too good!!!
