Sushi Osawa

If you live in or frequent Peachtree Corners, Sushi Osawa is a hidden gem you'll want to try. I'm honestly surprised it's not busier, considering how good the sushi, service, and overall food quality are--especially for the price. They offer a wide variety of sushi options, and you can even create your own (though it may cost extra). Tucked away in a plaza off Peachtree Parkway, the location adds to its charm.The staff here are incredibly friendly, making every visit enjoyable. A must-try item is the cheese wontons--they use thin wonton wrappers instead of the thicker eggroll paper, and they're fried to perfection every time. I've also tried the mussels as an appetizer; while they weren't my favorite, my friend found them delicious. Additionally, their Hibachi-style dishes are tasty and worth ordering.Overall, I love coming here for a nice, low-key spot to grab sushi.

Decided to stop here since I was going to Lidl for some things. I sat in my car first to decide if they had anything I really wanted to order. Even though it has a sushi lunch special of buy one roll, get second 50% off, I look to see if they have other combinations or dishes. Chirashi lunch caught my eye. Lunch portion come with soup and salad and is cheaper than dinner menu. Anyways, I ordered chirashi and asked for 2 piece nigiri of UNAGI. I know I specified Unagi and clarified that it's eel. The miso soup came and then the chirashi and 2 pieces of TUNA nigiri. I let the waitress know I ordered unagi, not tuna. She said she heard tuna. Does unagi and tuna sound alike? So she took the tuna back to sushi chef. You could see he was questioning her while looking at me from across the dining room. I finally got the unagi nigiri. Not once did the waitress come back to check on me after she dropped off the nigiri. The rice in the chirashi did not taste quite like sushi rice but it had some flavor and wasn't just plain rice. The soy sauce was very salty, so it was probably regular soy sauce. I'm used to being served light soy automatically at other Japanese restaurants, so this was a surprise. After I was finished, another waitress took care of cashing me out. After I got home, I realized I was very thirsty. That is usually a sign for me that there was MSG. I probably won't be back as it wasn't anything to write home about. Still feel the same a week later.

I love Sushi Osawa. I had ordered Mango Avocado and Cucumber Avocado and Asparagus rolls. They came put in stone plate and were delicious. I had gone on Monday night and they had buy one get one 50% of sushi on all rolls. If I need my sushi fix, I will come here for sure!

Came in to the restaurant because of the BOGO 50% off signs but decided to get the 3 rolls for $16 lunch special. 1) shrimp tempura 2) tuna 3) salmon roll+ salad The shrimp tempura roll was my favorite and the tuna was my least favorite. Everything was okay. The lunch special prices are okay + there is not other sushi in the PTC area so if I am in the mood I will check it out again but I do not think I will purposely go out of my way to go.

Really enjoyed coming here! I was grabbing lunch with my sister the other day and it was later in the afternoon, so the place was very calm and not crowded. ***LOCATION***In the Lidl shopping center. Plenty of parking and easy to find!***ATMOSPHERE***The atmosphere is really nice. The decor makes it feel very upscale but the prices are very reasonable. The inside was calm with quiet music playing and overall really pleasant. ***BATHROOM***Also very clean!***STAFF***Very friendly and attentive. Our waitress came to check on us a couple times but not too much to where it was every minute. She made sure our food was out quickly and that everything was correct.***FOOD***Really good! We split: vegetable fried rice, cucumber and avocado sushi and the veggie tempura roll. I was so glad to see so many vegetarian options. They had a whole section on the menu! My favorite was the cucumber avocado sushi and my sister prefered the tempura roll. We both were not huge fans of the rice surprisingly because it had a really strong mushroom taste. It was very overwhelming, and I have actually never had mushroom in my fried rice at similar restaurants. If you like mushroom you would like it, but we only like a little, but not enough to flavor the whole meal. It was still edible and I am sure most people would enjoy it, but we would probably just order more sushi next time vs the rice. ***PRICE***I know the rice was about 10$ because they only have a full order, which was fine since we were splitting it. The sushis were each about 6$ I believe, which is a good price! ***CONCLUSION***Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area :)

I've never my child turn back an udon. This was a first. She loves udon. Every time. This one she couldn't eat. I tried it and it tasted like water. We had to turn it back and leave. I give it 2 stars because the server was really nice and I felt bad. But I'll definitely never come back.

I ordered the Saba, the Ika, the Toro, the spicy tuna, and the Unagi. My order cost $57. I got 6 pieces of nigiri sushi and 5 pieces of sashimi. The interior was very classy and while I did not stay they had protocols in place for Covid as well as hand sanitizer available and they wore masks when taking my order.There was an outdoor seating area, but it didn't look very comfortable overall.Sushi itself was very good. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The Unagi was fantastic. They did not add too much of the barbecue sauce to it it was more about the flavor and texture of the unagi itself. The Toro was on point and had a good mouth feel as well as a clean palette. The spicy tuna wasn't necessarily very spicy. The saga was fresh. The Ika had the perfect amount of give and it was fresh. The real question is would I go back? I probably would not go back because it was quite a bit more expensive than I expected. I knew it was going to cost a little more, but I really didn't expect it to cost me quite so much.

Sushi hit the spot! Fried calamari was nothing special but was tasty nevertheless. Food arrived quickly. A bit pricey but certainly worth it. Nice decorations and pleasant environment, very chill.

Chicken hibachi horrible it's obvious they use low quality chicken. Steak was the same very tough. Only protein able to eat was the shrimp will not be back. Service was excellent whoever owns the place needs to stop cutting corners on the chicken and beef.

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Always fresh and always clean! A neighborhood gem - hidden near Lidl (fabulous for dates or family meals).
