Another great sushi joint. So fresh. They also have a full menu of none sushi things. The service is great. Decent size bar seating and not too loud so you can still enjoy conversation with those around you. They do a lot to go orders as well and seem to stay pretty busy.

Ordered from Uber eats. Got here fast. Ordered gyoza, California roll, Las Vegas roll and paradise roll. The gyoza was good. Just what you expect. The California roll was the worst I have ever tasted. I didn't know somebody could mess up a California roll so badly. The paradise roll was mostly cream cheese, hardly any mango. The Las Vegas roll was great but only got 3 small pieces (is as described on website). Very disappointing.

It's clean and they keep up on the conveyor belt. It's also quite popular. I handicap all the conveyor belt sushi places I've ever been to since they have to put out rolls constantly that sit on the belt - but the sushi really isn't that good. The fish all tastes of the refrigerator which is a big no no in the sushi game. I wouldn't return. Bottom line: even for adjusting for the concept the fish is not fresh or tasty.

Great place for lunch. It's fast in and out. They are all over the service for drinks and other needs. The fish is fresh and there is plenty of options. I have never had a bad experience. I come here a couple times a month for some time now. It's super easy for lunch.

Usually really like this place. This time, the chef missed the mark by being lazy. I ordered two (2) orders of Tuna sushi and three (3) orders of Seared Tuna. The server was super nice and went to put my order in. Then I watched one of the sushi chefs walk to the conveyor belt and grab three plates (orders) of tuna with ponzu sauce and re-plate them- obviously thinking I wouldn't notice. But... 1) I watched him pick up the orders and re-plate them- and even tried to hide the plates when he saw me looking and...2) Tuna covered in sauce is much different than "seared" tuna. Huge difference. This lazy, dishonest move ruined my experience. What other corners do the chefs cut?The server is trying to remedy the situation the best she can- she's awesome. As for the chef: not-so-awesome, Mr. Sneaky. I see you.Sucks... bc I really liked coming here.

Hidden behind an office building in a strip shopping center across Tatum Boulevard from the Desert Ridge Marketplace, Sushi on Tatum offers sushi as well as a selection of Japanese and Chinese entrees in a very casual ambiance. You're welcome to order directly off the menu or grab the small plates as they pass by your table on the conveyor belt. It's a fun experience for folks who like to create a custom curated meal from a variety of appetizers, small plates (with only three or four pieces of sushi on each plate), and desserts.Although food is constantly rotating past your table, Sushi on Tatum isn't an 'all-you-can-eat' arrangement and I was amazed to see huge piles of dirty plates stacked up in front of diners on adjacent tables. The prices for each of the items on the conveyor belt are based on the color of the plate used, so it's easy to quickly determine how much you're spending on your meal based on the rainbow of dirty plates piled up on your table.. but it seemed difficult for some diners to keep in mind that it is an 'a la carte' pricing arrangement, not 'all-you-can-eat' for a fixed price. When my dining companion and I stopped in for dinner, we ordered a few rolls off the menu with our server because the items passing us on the conveyor belt didn't look very appealing or freshly made. We each ordered three or four small plates of 'Special Rolls' (with 3-4 pieces of sushi on each), which was plenty for two moderately hungry adults. My favorites were the Bay Roll ($5), comprised of krab stick, salmon, and avocado topped with tuna, eel sauce, and spicy mayonnaise, and the Big Boy Roll ($5), comprised of salmon, tuna, and yellowtail topped with scallions. Our meal definitely wasn't bad -- the service was acceptable, our sushi was served very quickly, and no one got sick - but it wasn't particularly innovative, tasty, or memorable enough of an experience to make a distinct impression on me. I'd give it 1.5 stars, rounded up to 2 stars for the sushi conveyor belt arrangement, and I'm not sure we'd make a trip back given the number of better options for fresh, innovative sushi in the area.PRO TIP: There's plenty of free parking in the shopping center.

Ordered takeout last night. Poor quality food. Tuna sashimi was tough. Shrimp Tempura Roll had very little shrimp and wilted, browning lettuce. Lastly, ordered Fried Rice w/ Chicken. I had to dig for the rice, little to none. Gyoza soup was the only bright spot in the order.

Worthless, everything tasted the same. All the rolls were the same. Just switched little things here n there. Just straight crap. Never ever going here again. Complete waste of my money and over priced for what it is. Gross so gross. Waiters all had an attitude. So the whole vibe was just wasted space. And don't even get my started about the fried rice. We ordered some to go because my husband was so hungry still because everything was gross. And they size of the to go order is literally half of what they were bringing out to people at the tables. If I could have left without paying $80 wasted I would have never gone there.

Sushi was not that good. Drinks of 4 ice tea, one coke and 2kids drinks were $30. You pay by plate or order off menue. $20For a plate of low mein. For our 5 adults and 2 children was $170 without tip. Go to Buffet at Metro . Cheaper and sushi is better.
