Sushi Niwa

When I called to order and picked the Chef Special Roll and Sashimi Salad, I was asked, "Are you sure??" I asked why he would ask that, and he said some people like, some don't, allergies, hint like shrimp..... and told me if I didn't like any part of it, make sure to tell him next time and he will make just what I want. That was cool, but it made me wonder... do people seriously order a Chefs Special, not ask what it is, and then complain they didn't like it or had food allergies?!?!? The Sashimi salad had generous amounts of mixed greens that were very fresh, thin slices of white onion (I was surprised to see this, but the flavors were great with the dish!!) and delicate slices of very fresh tasting sashimi. The Sesame Citrus (ponzu?) dressing was really nice. Both the roll and the salad were EXCELLENT. My son even made it a point to ask where the roll came from because it was SO good.I ordered by phone, was told 15 min and when I got there it was ready to go. I will absolutely go many more times!

I wish I had a picture of the karaage chicken with rice and salad. This was our 2nd time here and we love it! The Godzilla Roll is huge and delicious. The customer service was great! The guy served us water, sauce, rice all with a smile. We were the only ones there around 3pm so he was really attentive to our needs. Can't wait to go back for more!

OWNERS CHANGED-- recently went back here last weekend and oh my goodness the food is different. I always get the same food, a summer roll and a Las Vegas roll with no cream cheese.It took 2x longer than it usually does and longer than the chef said it would. It cost more than it had, and it tasted just okay. The miso soup was salty and the salad had no dressing.I used to come here every weekend with my mom. But they got my order wrong. The tables were dirty and wobbly. They were not communicative at all. And we had to wait to even order even after they acknowledged us and saw us waiting.Paid more for less food. Would not go back again.

Without doubt the best bang for your buck when it comes to sushi. Fresh amazing tasting fish, delicious special rolls alongside your mainstays and classics. All with an unbeatable price.

Came here on a whim based on other peoples Yelp reviews. It was around dinner time and no one was here. You order your food, pick a table and they bring everything out to you. Salad and miso soup was included in our order that came out immediately. Miso tasted ok but had just wakame in it, no tofu. After a few bites of my salad I noticed rotten lettuce in it indicating it was probably old. Sushi came out right after and I can't remember what we ordered but they all had this off putting neon green wasabi with each roll. If their standards for quality were higher, I can easily see this place being a regular on my list but sadly its not. The only benefit of this place is that it is inside Paldo World.

This place sucks! They got a new owner. Same menu. Higher prices. Lower quality. The original owners cared about their customers. Gave quality sized rolls with prices. This place is a joke. They also now have a sign that says something along the lines of "food served is not as pictured." You just let that statement sink in.

I love getting sushi here! Their service is pretty quick unless it's super busy, but you get great quality sushi and good portions! Been coming here for years and would highly recommend

Loved it! This is located in the Pal-Do World Market. It's a very cute stand in their food court area. The sushi was to die for. They had a great 6 piece nigiri plate that was priced well. We also ordered the baked salmon, spicy salmon, and avocado rolls. All of the fish was fresh and tasted amazing. Our order also came with some delicious miso soup. The cashier was very friendly; our order took a bit of time to come out but it was definitely worth it. The sushi is priced extremely fairly for the quality you get!

whatEVERRRRR you do--IF you are an old Sushi Niwa patron and the 'Karage' was a favorite dish here...let me put chu' on.I highly suggest you DO NOT waste your time and coins coming here and if you do--AVOID this GARBAGE!!! And I do mean ABBBBsolutely, POSitively at alllllllll cost.1. The flavor is not even close. 2. Mine was (see photo) overcooked. Drastically.3. The Flavor is not even Close.4. The sauce isn't the same.5. Did I mention that the FLAVOR is not even CLOSE?6. It doesn't even smell right.Well, IF I forgot to mention it:THA' DAMN FLAVOR IS NASTY AS HELL!!! NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL. What really 'chaffs my pits' though, is that I have to leave a review like this and man at tha' counter...was really a nice guy! He gave me a free salad yall!!! Gosh. Granted. Prolly didn't cost but .75 but he gave me a free salad!!!!Regardless though, I shall not tell a lie and though this is my opinion, guess what...I YAINT LYING-GUH!!! NASTY.They used to be one of tha' Sushi greats but I'm not eeeeven go tempt it. I'm done with Sushi Niwa. Like...like...good Volleyball ball spike...DONE!Good thang tha' Sprite was canned or ain't no telling what that woulda' tasted like.This $&@? here need to come wit a mini-garbage can from 'no mo' Dollar-Dollar Tree' and a 3 minute, Money Back...GUARANTEE. A GUARANTEE THAT: "THEY WONT SELL THIS HORRIBLE $&@! to NOOOOBODY ELSE". EVER.I know you really can't tell but my taste buds is highhhhhly pissed.
