Sushi N’ Gone Teriyaki & Noodles

Casual ambiance, plenty of space. Felt a bit dull, possibly due to it being slow. There were 2 other parties.We were greeted and seated right away. Which we appreciate. Unfortunately, service was mediocre at best. Our server did not introduce herself, and just asked " Can, I get you guys something"? No.. Hi, my name is so.. Have you guys been here before? Can I start you with an appetizer? Or do you need more time? No recommendations. Nothing..Water refill forgotten. Can definitely go on with just the service alone. Which is unfortunate as service is a big part of dining experience, and it was disappointing to see it fall short.The food was good but can definitely can be leveled up a bit. Both rolls were good, it was just very similar in flavors and defining flavors to differentiate the two except for cilantro and Unagi sauce.The chicken ramen was good, the broth had a good flavor. Chicken was cooked good and not dry. Could have used a bit more toppings, an egg, bok-choy and without cabbage or bean sprouts. The tempura was crunchy not too oily, the batter was just a little too thick as it's typically light and crispy. When it came time to settle our bill, I was given the total verbally without the actual check, which felt unusual. I had to ask to see the itemized bill. Which sort of came as a surprise to our server.This place has a lot of potential and just needs some improvements, particularly in the service area.Wish them the best of luck.

Came here on a Friday night and we got seated right away not too busy. We ordered veggie ramen, garlic edamame and lots of sushi rolls. Veggie ramen was flavorful they used chicken broth. Tasty and lots of veggies !!! Their sushi rolls were pretty much big servings you'll get full fast. My fave is the Fire 2.0 with the jalapeño toppings. They don't serve alcohol yet - they said it's pending n pretty soon! Watch for it.The servers are friendly and food came out fast. This location is across Shell gas station at 8th street in National city. Overall, lots of table seatings and they have TVs on the wall where you can watch any sports you won't get bored. I promise. And They have extensive menu. I brought my coworkers here and they loved it. I love coming here and I support small businesses!

The effort in the meals was decent. Large portions but all of the dishes ordered severely lacked in flavor and flair. The service was mediocre and a little slow. Parking lot is very small but didn't experience any issues, it wasn't busy at all around lunchtime.

Very good sushi, but even for delivery, nothing to fully brag about. Service was on time as well.

It was def not what I expected. Or maybe I just expected too much? First of all, it's a weird setup, like when you walk into a brewery. Different table setups throughout the very open space. There's bar seating, table seating, booth seats, and a picnic bench. When we first walked in, I really didn't know what to do. There was 1 server, who was helping a table, so we kinda stood there til I asked the sushi chef if we should just choose a table? &the server gave us menus. We waited a little while to have our order taken, so the sushi chef helped us instead. He recommended the Dynamite Roll, which is def different than what a typical Japanese "Dynamite" roll would be. I'm not sure if it was the Lee Kum Brand Siracha or what, but the flavor was a bit off. I don't think I'd be coming back. I had to run straight to the bathroom afterwards. I didn't even finish everything. To top it off, there was a black hair in my daughter's rice. When I mentioned it to the chef/owner he said you should've told me earlier! &I said it was fine cause I didn't want a replacement. &He just said sorry, I wear gloves but you see &referred to his arms. Which were hairyyy. He didn't offer to comp it or some type of discount. The audacity of his response took me by surprise too. I mean if you can't keep your arm hairs off the foods, maybe you should start wearing long sleeves. Just an idea.

Stopped in here today after church. Cute place with lots of good seating. Was told they have live music Friday nights and Karaoke on Saturday nights. Prices were okay. I ordered the miso soup and the Crunchy Red Dragon roll. Nothing too fancy, solid sushi but not mind blowing. Overall I wouldn't mind coming here again. The servers were relaxed and helpful when you asked for stuff and we came when there wasn't many other people so we got our food fast & everything tasted fresh.

Amazing sushi, you can taste the quality. The staff is very clean and friendly. Lots of space to sit and serval tvs to watch sports. New favorite sushi spot.

At first glance this place might be off putting with the bars in the front windows but don't let looks fool you this place is very much worth your time and money. Service was 10/10. They were very attentive and helpful. The chef even came at the end of our meal to make sure we enjoyed our food. Which we did because we left NOTHING lol There Sake was unlike any Ive tried before. I was quite surprised! It reminded me of Kern's mango nectar drink but the adult version infused with Sake! What stood out me about the sushi rolls was that they were extremely well served. Most sushi restaurants serve smaller rolls and charge a lot more. The most expensive roll was $15 which is very reasonable considering the hefty portions they give. I also loved the ramen. The Chasu ramen has a very subtle ginger flavor that I found so lovely to eat. It is simple but packed with flavor. Out of all the rolls we tried our favorite was "Verano" which translates to Summer in English. This roll was fresh and light just like summer. I would definitely come again and happy I live in the neighborhood. Come show them some love and check them out. You can thank me later!

Amazing sushi place, I order it on Uber eats and my pregnancy craving was satisfied, I'm glad I found this place. My favorite is the hot Cheeto roll so delicious

I stopped by to get sushi since it's Friday. When I come in the owner is welcoming It was empty when I got there but it's nice establishment Employees were nice I order sushi and it taste amazing! Might be my new place to get sushi They gave us sushi ginger as well (mom ate it before I could take a picture)
