Reasonably priced and FRESH SUSHI ! I came in on a Sunday evening and was hesitant because they were not busy and had an empty dining room . Come to find out they only opened 9 months ago . That being said , I decided to give it a chance due to the good Yelp reviews and I'm GLAD I DID ! My SPICY TUNA AND AVOCADO CUCUMBER TOLL were fresh and delicious and I'll definitely be back . They had awesome service with a smile and offered me a drink while I waited for my to-go order . I hope this place continues to do well , def try it out if you are in the area !!!

I tried out Sushi Michi for an early dinner Saturday night. The restaurant interior is casual, with bar seating available if you're dining alone. The menu had a lot to offer and it sounds like they have a pretty solid happy hour on weeknights.We ordered the soft crab to start and then enjoyed the 6-piece sushi combo and spicy ramen. The food came out quickly and the presentation was a nice touch. The fish was fresh but the real standout was the octopus. The spicy ramen left a lot to be desired, it was very heavy on the cabbage and there wasn't a lot else in the broth. It was spicy without being overwhelming and the pork was prepared well. We had a great server but it was clear the restaurant was understaffed. If you're worried about parking, they have a small lot at the back

This is a great addition to the 16th Street restaurant corridor.The menu is extensive, the food is fresh and tasty, and the service is great.A group of four of us ordered a hodgepodge of sushi rolls and we were not disappointed. Each roll had a specific flavor and allowed us the opportunity to enjoy a number of different textures. We started with miso soup. Not quite hot enough but yummy.We didn't have dessert as we were all stuffed by the end of the meal.The inside decor is clean and has an eastern/Asian vibe. The waitress was very helpful.There is a good-sized parking lot around back because there are only a couple of spaces in the front.Try this place for some great sushi rolls.

Fish was delicious and fresh. Servers were attentive. Sushi chef behind the bar was friendly and also gave suggestions about ordering things that are not on the menu for the next time I visit. Restaurant interior is very clean and welcoming. I ordered the Albacore tataki, albacore roll, yellowtail nigiri, albacore nigiri, masago nigiri, snapper nigiri, and tobiko nigiri. Everything was amazing! Definitely wanna come back to try more of their menu.

A new Japanese/sushi place in the area?! Of course I had to try it. First off, the hostess/waitress is an absolute gem. Their bubbly-kind energy is enough to brighten up any room or individual. They provided courteous, humorous, and most importantly, prompt service.So why the 2 stars? The food. We ordered the Kevin roll, David roll, Salmon roll, Tonkotsu ramen, and Spicy Miso ramen. Of the 3 rolls, the Salmon roll was my personal favorite. The other 2 however had elements that made the roll taste unsavory (over-ripe avocado, sitting imitation crab). I definitely would recommend the fresher rolls vs. the cooked/fried rolls. Now the ramen. If you like Tonkotsu ramen with rich, seasoned broth packed with umami flavor, this is not the place. The Tonkotsu broth tasted like the vegetables found in it; you know the common ones found in Tonkotsu ramen... carrots, broccoli, and cabbage...I want to reiterate the warmness and kindness the hostess/waitress bestowed upon us. If you are looking for a place with good vibes and mediocre food, then Sushi Michi is the place.

Couldn't wait to have this place open!! We need a sushi place in this area!! Walked in and greeted warmly by everyone. The place looks great! I've been in every establishment that was previously in this building. Place is spotless! Menus are very nice. My friend and I just wanted a snack and check it out. Ordered a Soju which I love. Sushi chef suggested the Alexander roll. It was delicious!! As we sat and talked he kept giving us tastes of different things. So sweet. I can't wait to come back for dinner too. The daily specials are such a great deal. I like that they have beer/wine/sake/Soju. That's perfect for this area!! Tons of parking in the back. Check it out!!

Great new sushi spot! This place popped up on maps when my friends and I were talking about getting some sushi the other night. We wanted somewhere sort've in between North Phoenix/PV area and Central Phoenix. I knew they were newer and they had pretty good reviews so we decided to check it out. The staff were really friendly! It definitely gave off more authentic vibes than just any ole sushi restaurant. I LOVED that they have a good selection of soju - including my current favorite flavor: yogurt We went through 2 bottles! We got some tofu spicy ramen and a couple of rolls. It's cute a lot of their specialty ones are named after people. So in honor of 2 of our husbands, we got the David and the Patrick. Everything was yummy and I'd totally come back!
